The s80 is a big, spacious and comfortable car. It cruises effortlessly and eats up the miles on motorways. The seats are very comfortable for driver and all passengers but if you have young children - check your child seat; Volvo make their own and a number of others are not recommended. Without the reverse warning equipment reversing into a tight parking spot is a two person activity, even a 6ft tall driver cannot see the back of the car. It is a big car and I often have to pass on even marked parking spaces. I've driven many large saloons but this does take a little time to get used to the feel of the car on manoeuvring, certainly more than a short test drive. The boot is very large and can be extended by lowering the rear seat backs. This is not a city centre car but if you need a large family saloon and want a reliable, safe car for long distances at the speed limit, this fulfils the bill.
