I am also fond of Volvo,a brand which I trust most.Volvo always gives me impression of high security, straightforward and trusty. And I also regard the Volvo cars are welled designed to have a elegant apperance and comfortable inside room.VolvoV50 2.0DS 5dr Sortswagon has 6 speed manul gearbox and almost as fast as you want!It is no wonder that the sales of Volvo attain a peak in the US in 2003.There is no reason that it wouldn't be popular if you are a lover of speed .The fuel conseption of it might be a little larger compared to smaller cars but it is just OK to drive in the wild.I love driving cars to wildness, there is more beauty of the nature and with my cars sppeding up,I hawls loudly and chheers up,that is really wonderful experience for me.In a word,I think this car is a good choice for me and maybe for you too.So I think ...
Advantages: Swift, Well Made, Indestructable Disadvantages: depreciation, service costs
The VolvoV70 estate was brought into the market by Volvo to replace its ageing 850 range. The 1997-2000 V70's boast several exterior improvements over the 850 including reshaped front and side lights, and body coloured bumpers and door handles.
We bought our 1999 V70 for about £13,000, though expect to pay up to 5 grand more if you decide to buy through a dealer or specialist.
The car is a 2.5L Turbo Diesel, and was our first diesel car. We were surprised at the acceleration of the car, and even though it sounds like a van when your in traffic, it has a nice 'howl' when you put the pedal to the metal. Official Volvo stats record the V70 TD getting to 60 in around 8.5 seconds. The car does a little under 40mpg on the motorway, and a little under 35mph when accelerating heavily in towns or in traffic. There is also a lack ...

Ciao members have rated this car review on average: very helpful Review of Volvo V70 2.5D
Advantages: Smashing handling, outstanding build quality, very good performance/MPG Disadvantages: Insufficient front and rear storage pockets, offside blind spoy.
Owned a V50 for just over 12 months and 32k miles - it's quite the nicest, most reliable and fault free vehicle I've ever owned.
Delivered free from fault and continued in that vein - 2 services and 2 replacement tyres are the only costs. Apart from all that it is a 'looker' and attracts many admiring glances and comments.
Driven hard the car will deliver 40+mpg, driven sensibly 47 is not difficult to achieve, and if you've plenty of time, driving at 60mph it will happily deliver over 50mpg.
The engine can appear noisy in low gear under hard acceleration but noise levels quickly tail off as you gather speed. For a diesel performance is smashing and from 40mph the torque and pick up is a joy. It will accelerate freely all the way to 120mph and even when using 6th gear (its a novelty at first) it pulls very well. Needless to say ...
