I haven't a family, I aint lucky enough for that, but still I would love the opportunity to have this car in my garage.

Volvo are known for the hgh standards in safety, especially side impact.

The security is also a high standard. The car comes with every security measure known, double dead locks, Immobiliser. It really has it all.

This is a true motor, its not a car, its motor which has everything about it.

You don't go out looking for a crash of course, but for me I felt a lot safer driving this car than some I have drove.

Its not possible to have satelite navigation from the dealer, even as an extra. But it has cruise control, electric mirrors and all the others such as power steering and electric windows f/r.

The accomadation inside the car is unique. I have never seen a car which has both space for the driver and passenger, with space for the people behind.

I did feel though that the pedals were to close together and maybe a little to one side while driving the car.

It does annoy you and puts you off noticing the good points and the feeling of driving the car, but you would get use to it.

You can make extra room in the rear of the car, even though you have enough. You just feel safe in this car, and very comfortable.

For an estate which is presumed as heavy, takes of at a 0-62mph in 7.1secs and it has a top speed of a wopping 155mph. Its there to scare the kids!

Its about 60p per mile but as the car is extremely high on security and safety, the insurance is sure to be a relief, even for you crazy drivers.

It does cost a lot ot keep on the road, but you remember you're buying a high quality car which is reliable and long lasting.

Finally, the customer service is exceptional where I went. Although I don't own one, yet, they kept in touch and sent me magazines featuring the latest news inside the Volvo manufacturer.

I see this all as the lottery and a bonus. If you have the money and you're o.k bout opening your heavy wallet then go for it.

hi chunka, this is a good initial insight into this 'secure' car's capabilities but in order to give the consumer real feeling for the car, a little more detail about the car's handling. performace, gear changes, any problems, cost of ownership etc need to be discussed, hence my helpful rating, still a good opinion - cheers, -CH

Another good opinion, but I'm sorry about the Helpful rating. This was due to the fact that you don't comment on the ride, handling etc. really you need to have had some experience of the car to review it. A good op though. Pete
