. 12 ... ...traditionalists may prefer the classic Vox grille cloth. I certainly do but I suppose chrome goes with the more modern approach and many features and technology.
Only wish they had a tuner built in.

Speaker wise it has 1x 8 inch 4 ohm speaker, Vox "original" they say it is. Now for the overwhelming amount of features this lil bugger has!
. 22 amp models . 3 banks for each amp model (so 66) . 12 effects . 22 song presets . 4 channels letting you save 2 of your own sounds in each (so 8) . A power level switch at the back so you can turn down the amp down from 15W down to 0.2W.
Other features like many amps it has a headphone socket but this one is a 3.5mm one unlike most, the smaller kind. May be more convenient but for this you pay in sound quality via headphones. Noise reduction is also available.
The knobs are cream coloured chicken head ones. You have access to all the usual (gain, volume, master, treble etc.).
Aesthetics wise it's black with black corner protectors, a chrome speaker grill, black handle and chrome fiddly bits (logo, screws etc). Some traditionalists may prefer the classic Vox grille cloth. I certainly do but I suppose chrome goes with the more modern approach and many features and technology.
Only wish they had a tuner built in.
Sound.
The sound is great! Almost all of the presets are brilliant, some are lacking the oomph and clarity, but the good ones do shine. I get good clean sounds from it and great classic rock and all sorts from it! Not so suitable for heavy metal im afraid. The effects are pretty good although I never use them. Pretty versatile amp! I would of rather they made less presets and concentrated on quality not quantity though.
Reliability and durability wise I am not too concerned. It seems pretty tough! The only thing not up to scratch I would say is the AC power connector. The one on mine is becoming a bit loose.
All in all great amp. No regrets. Would buy again!
