I bought this toy for my son for his first birthday and he absolutely loved it. A month later we were sat playing and he put his foot through the blue hole to the yellow flap where his foot got stuck. He cut and bruised his leg trying to get free and was holding his breath until he nearly passed out. I had no option but to call 999 for the fire and rescue service. I have complained to Vtech and they're offering my son anything from their range of toys but quite frankly I wouldn't want to chance something else from vtech . British Standards can't be up to scratch. I know this could have happened to any toy from other manufacturers . I will never buy anything from Vtech again simply due to the trauma we both had from one toy. I'm not saying don't buy it just be careful. Although I was there and watching my child it still happened. They're too quick these days!
