VTech Sort and Soar Rocket

I purchased the VTech sort and soar rocket for my little boy ( Harrison) for christmas last year and I can saftey said it was not a waste of money, he plays with it all the time and loves it.

VTech was founded in 1976 in Hong Kong and the company products are aimed at children all ages, I have never had any problems with VTech toys, I have always found them very safe, strong and full of fun for children all ages.

The product, VTech sort and soar rocket is maded of tough, very good quality plastic. It is brightly coloured, very eyecatching for children.
The sort and soar rocket has lots of activities to keep your children happy for hours, well it keeps Harrison happy for months.
The rocket isn't to big or to small, I would say it's just the right size for little people and the shapes are big enough to fit into their small hands.

TELL ME HOW IT WORKS

I have played with this toy myself, so I can tell you how it works.
First of all,there is a sliding switch on the side base of the rocket, down near the bottom, you or your child need to choice an activitie, to do this, just slide the switch to the right activitie.

Here are the activities to choice from........................

COLOURS:
Post the shape blocks through the colour -coordinated windows , when the shapes are pushed through the RIGHT window, the window will light up.
After your child has inserted all five shapes, they will hear a fun phrase and great sound effects.

MUSIC:
Each time your child posts the shape through any window, the rocket will play a different tune.

COUNTING:
Each time your child posts a shape though a window, the rocket tells them how many shapes they have put into the rocket.
Eg.. Harrison puts in one shape, the rocket says one
Harrison puts in two shapes, the rocket says two.

SHAPES:
Which ever shape your child has posted though the windows, the rocket will tell your child the name of the shape.
Eg... Harrison puts in a star, the rocket will say star

BLAST OFF........ At the top of the toy, they is a large round button, if your child pushes it, it will light up and shout 5,4,3,2,1 BALST OFF and the rocket pops up and all the shapes come tumbling out of the bottom...........it's great fun, trust me!

SO WHAT TUNES ARE PLAYED

~Pop goe's the weasel
~This old man
and Harrisons favourite.............
~For he’s a jolly good fellow. He has already learnt that the red window will play that song, I perfer Twinkle, twinkle little star myself, but it's toy.

SETTING UP

Unlike other toy's which my children have, this toys is really easy to set up.
~ Take all the toy and shapes out the box
~ Put on a FLAT floor
~ Put the batteries inside the rocket
~ Press the "on" button and begin to play and learn.
I think all toys should be this easy!

I think it is really important for children to learn though play, Sort and soar rocket is a toy which allows infant and toddles to learn while having fun, it teachs them motor skills, discovery and exploration and language development.

Vtech Sort and soar rocket also teachs infants and toddles different colours,different shapes, music, counting and different sounds.

5~I think this is a brilliant toy, well wroth the £18.99 which I paid for it.
4~Children don't get bored with it so quick because of all the different activities which they can play.
3~As they are playing with the toy they are also learning motor skills, and language development which with help them later in life.
2~You should see my little boy dancing to the music, brings a smile to my face everytime.
1~A great product which will last for a very long time
