I have bought this about a week ago, so I haven't had a lot of opportunities to test the product out yet. But I have to admit I really like it, because it has a very sleek design and it looks very classy. I am pretty impressed that such a small device can store up to 320GB of data. The other impressive thing is that it only needs to be plugged in USB and it works instantly. It is so easy and handy to carry around. It doesn't take up a lot of space at all.
Installation was very easy and straight forward too. The good thing about storing your data onto this little hard drive is that it allows you to set a password on the hard drive or on files / folders that you do not want to share with others in case they get a glimpse.

The only thing potential buyers need to think about when considering this device is how much space they need for their files. 160 GB is one of the smallest sizes I could find for external hard drives, but it is about the same size as my laptop's internal hard drive - in other words, it stores a lot of data! If, therefore, you are looking for something just to back up a few photos, or a couple of word documents, it would probably be a better idea to do so by CD or USB stick. But it's a definite for people who want to transfer and back up there many files easily, securely and promptly, without having the downside of dragging a huge bulky hard drive around when you want to take your files with you elsewhere. ...

I have just brought a laptop to do some word processing at home. It wasn't a very expensive one, but I wanted to take good care of it so it wouldn't get dirty or scratched.
When I brought the laptop I asked the shop assistant if they sold any carryingcases and he showed me a couple of them. The first one felt very cheap and didn't feel as if it would last for very long and it also felt that it would rip easy at the seams.
So I asked him if there where any more to look at and he told me that there where a few others but they where more expensive. He produced this Toshiba carryingcase and I instantly knew from the look of it that it was more substantial and a better quality material.
It was £25.99, which was more than I wanted to pay for a case but I knew that if I brought the cheaper one then it wouldn't have lasted as long ...
