Alcopops are, for me, a godsend. I despise beers, lagers and wines. Lucky for me, I grew up when these things were readily available. Yay!
Starting with the stats, theres 275ML (approx) in every bottle and 1.4 units of alcohol in every 275ML giving us a grand total of 5% alcomaholalol! Thankfully this information is printed in the back of every bottle in a rather easy to read fashion. So if you're wanting to be more concious of what your drinking you can count it all up.
The name is a bit of an annoyance for me because everyone decides to say it differently. It's said "wicked" which you'll get if you watch the advertising. There are, however, an army of bar staff on call, night and day, who will look at you as if you have three heads unless you ask for a blue double-u kay dee.
The bottle is a pretty standard beer bottle type shape with a very stylish label, so its quite suited to both sexes. In saying that, the crazy bright colours tend to make people think it's a girls drink.
A girls drink!??! I hear the male fans and feminists cry as they run at me with torches and pitchforks! Yes. A girl's drink. As much as ruthless advertising to all those cool twenty somethings likes to tell us it's cool to be seen with anything other than a beer, it's just not the case. Thankfully, I'm gay, so being told that I'm a little bit gay for drinking it makes me giggle. It makes me laugh slightly more when those manly men drinking beer, five bottles behind me are falling on the floor.
A tip to remember if anyone calls you a girl: Blue wkd has a higher alcohol content than most bottles of beer/ lager or glasses of wine. And if you come in the female variety...well I suggest strong sarcastic remarks at this point.

I'm told its a blend of fruit mixed with some vodka but my pallet isn't really amazingly sophisticated so it tends to only tell me "ooo good" or "ooo spit that out" My way of thinking is that, if it has to be an aquired taste to enjoy it, then your just forcing yourself to like dishwater. Blue Wkd falls into the "ooo good" response group.

Another warning for your innards. If you go out and get absolutely plastered on this stuff, it tends to turn every bodily fluid you have green. I kid you not. As for your outer appearance, your tongue will look like you have been licking smurfs and you may scare a few people with your "I have just risen from the dead" lips. Slurring and falling over may also occur.
As for price, I think it really depends how you like to drink. For those of you who like a tipple in the house at any point, it will probably work out cheaper. Theres always some sort of deal on alcopops in the shops or you can buy the larger bottles. Currently I'm nursing my way through a ten pack thats working out at just under £1.10 per bottle.
If, however, you prefer to drink a la pub you'll probably end up paying slightly more. Usually around £2- £3 in most pubs, and probably a little more again in clubs. There are cheaper versions out there but this one manages to get the balance of fizzyness and flavour just right. It's smoother down than the cheaper versions so worth paying slightly more. You'll never find it cheaper than a beer though. Which makes me sad.
I'd definatley say this is worth the money and a lot nicer than a lot of stuff out there.
...the main alcopop around, however WKD has changed things as it is more of a unisex alcopop and can be enjoyed by men without certain allegations being made about their sexuality! The television adverts shows WKD as being a ‘lads’ drink, as it shows a group of lads who, like any blokes between 20 and 35, play tricks on each other. WKD is an abbreviation of Wicked, thus making the slogan “Have you got a WKD side” make some sense.
WKD comes in three ... ...The blue WKD has a hard to describe flavour but it is very nice. It is a sort of fruity taste but something I cannot quite put my finger on. It isn’t sickly sweet like other alcopops are and it is very refreshing and energising to keep you dancing a bit longer! The drink isn’t particularly strong (5.5%) and comes in 275ml bottles the same as bottles beers come in. You can drink a quite a few WKD’s before you are drunk, which can be perceived as positive ...

WKD is one of the many alcopops drinks currently on the market.
There are three types of WKD - Irn Bru, Silver and Blue and today Matthew I’m going to be Blue. Sorry, thought I was on Stars in your Eyes for a moment………..
I first tried the wonderful WKD in a bar in Scotland about two and a half years ago. I remember seeing it on a shelf behind the bar wanting to try it just because of it’s lovely colour! However, I asked for a W K D and was gruffly ... ...The latest bottle of blue WKD that I bought was from the corner shop, which retailed at £1.29 although I think they are a lot cheaper in Tesco’s if bought in packs of four.
The product is in a clear glass bottle with no fancy designs or lettering.
On the front of the bottle is a dark blue rectangle with the lettering WKD and underneath that is written Original Vodka Blue.
The appearance of the drink is what grabs everyone’s attention. It is a ...

Advantages: Its blue!!! Disadvantages: Very very syrupy sweet
WKD is an alcopop that has been around for a while now - first as a kind of alcoholic Irn Bru and now as blue WKD and silver WKD. I'm sure you are all familiar with the concept of an alcopop but just to recap they are alcoholic versions of soft drinks in lurid colours which come in glass bottles. They appeared back in about 1996 to much controversy because grown ups thought kiddies would drink them. They were right! Blue WKD (That's Blue Wicked) comes in a 275ml clear bottle and (surprise surprise) is a bright blue colour. You'll spot it a mile off in the fridges behind any bar or in any off-licence. Expect to pay £2-£3 in a club or bar (depends on standard alcopop price) and around £1 for a bottle in a shop. My friends buy them in bulk which ...

first??? :) Bad me.....Okay, so the smell is sweet, and smells of blueberry. Yum!
Taste
-----
Ok, gimmie 5 mins here, hehhe, only joking, it tastes very sweet, and like blueberry. It does not taste very strong at all, which is good because this means you can drink loads of it!!!
I will tell you exactly what it tastes like...a blue ice pole!!! Remember buying them when we were younger or when the kids want them and you have a little taste, well that's exactly what it tastes like!!! MMMMMMM :)
Packaging
---------
The liquid drink itself is a striking blue colour, and is in a clear bottle. The WKD symbol is on the front of the bottle, and is in blue writing.
It says on the front...OriginalBlueVodka.
Overall, packaging looks very trendy, modern and very alco-poppy.

Sparkling alcoholic drink ...
Advantages: Tastes like pop and drinks like pop ! Disadvantages: Tastes like pop and drinks like pop !!!!
Not really sure how I first got drinking this but I have certainly never looked back - I mean, what did we do before the invent of alcopops ?!?
ooo What is WKD ? ooo
WKD belongs to the family of alcoholic drinks named alcopops - a fairly recent addition of drinks which all mix spirits (normally vodka or rum) with your favourite soft drinks. These are fizzy drinks so tend to last longer than the still varieties (eg Reef).
They are the ideal compromise between alcohol and a thirst quenching drink of pop. The family includes the orange one (WKDoriginalvodka iron bru, the blue one (OriginalVodkablue) which tastes like blueberry and the newest addition the silver one (OriginalVodka Silver) which although I haven't tried, believe to be vodka and lemonade.

Advantages: Ok price and relatively smooth. Disadvantages: A bit bland and uninteresting.
" (actually that's a bit of a lie, they actually say "Breezer, darling! Owroight? NANANANA!!!"). But this doesn't make any sense, the reason that Breezers (Even I'm doing it now!) were so popular is that you COULDN'T taste the Bacardi!
Breezers (stop it, now!) are an OK drink. You'll find that they are normally the cheaper alternative to the other alcopop brand like Smirnoff Ice and WKD's. They come in Cranberry, Lemon (their attempt to take some of Smirnoff Ice's market!), orange, Lime, pineapple and watermelon. They normally cost around £2.70 to £3 a bottle (275ml). I personally, wouldn't recommend them at all; because all it is, is an alcoholic fruit juice with no definitive flavour (Unlike, WKDoriginal and Blue).
Bacardi on the whole is drink I would recommend to people who want a change from normal vodka and coke as Bacardi has ...
