The Smackdown vs Raw series is now over, it was famed for glitches, freezing, crashing and much more, the games have never been very reliable at all. So here comes WWE 12, a game which has an entire new engine, which works very well and runs pretty smoothly. The moves look a lot more fluid and there are a lot less glitches, there are a few that I've come across, but they aren't too bad. Graphics wise, the game looks very good, not much different to past games, but it's taken a bigger step up than it normally does, believe me. There are a range of game modes, which are all quite a lot of fun, a huge roster and Road to Wrestlemania, which is still the same as SvR.

Gameplay- It tends to work very well, and the matches flow nicely. You don't generally get unfairly pinned etc, but it tends to be very difficult sometime and almost impossible to come back. The wide range of game mode, types, make this is a very addictive game to play.

Graphics- The graphics look great, the models look good, the crowd are starting to look a lot better. It's a huge step up from the old SvR games, and I hope that it'll further improve this year. I was very impressed with the graphics, and it also makes the game flow a lot better.

Sound- The sound is a bit lacking, but all WWE games always have awful sound, so it's to be expected. The commentary is pretty good though, I have to admit. And the chair shots sound very cool.

Value for Money- You'll get a lot of gameplay out of this, it's great value for money, it's pretty much unlimited playtime, but I doubt you'll stay interested for much over 50 hours, unless you have a very long attention span and struggles to get bored. Because it's not very fun after a while.

Overall- WWE '12 was the improvement that was promised, it has nailed it, and put the WWE series back into the best sports games, rather than the awful SvR games that were full of game breaking glitches. Well done THQ!
