Advantages great to relive classic matches, easy trophies, you can add sdvsr09 roster

Disadvantages completely different controls, crowd visuals, too easy to make people tap out

Legends of wrestlemania is, in the shortest way i can put it, a chance to relive, rewrite, and redefine classic matches from wrestlemania 1, all the way to wrestlemania 15. The roster is filled with tons of memorable legends such as Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart, with the oppurtunity to also add the roster from smackdown vs. raw 2009 into the mix. I thought this was a great feature as you can pit superstars of the present against superstars of the past. This way, you can make the million doller man face off against his own son! However, you cannot import the 2010 roster, meaning for gamers who pick up the game after they've traded in their past sdvr for the newer version (like me) will miss out on this feature.
Onto the game modes. In this game your main mode is wrestlemania tour, where you will be given matches to relive, rewrite and redefine. Each match will have certain goals you must complete to earn a medal. These goals are mainly for relive mode, however the other 2 modes have them as well. The goals can go from as simple as using a finishing move on your opponent, to as structured as take the guy to the entrence area and throw him into a big wrestlemania sign. Once you have completed all of these matches and earned all of the medals, you will have completed wrestlemania tour mode. Do not worry, though. The game has a special legend killer mode where you can pit a created legend in a gauntlet type of match, and try to deafeat all of the opponents. There are 5 tiers to go through, with the optional 6 if you import the sdvsr09 roster. All of the modes are fun.
Now onto some of the negative points of the game. First of all, i will tell you now that the controls in this game are very different. They are not like any wrestling game you will have played before. While you can still learn the controls rather quickly, it might take a little longer for the sdvsr veterens to get the hang of things.
Second of all, i must say how annoying it can be to play submission matches. If someone locks you into a hold when you are on red health, you give up instantly! Even if you press every single button on your control pad as fast as you can, you give up. Does this game know the meaning of fighting back?
Those last few paragraphs may have been negative, but the truth is this is a very good game with an easy platinum trophy, and is worth a buy for any wrstling fan or trophy lover. Is it destined for the hall of fame? Probabley not, but it is still a game worth playing.
note: I cannot give my opinion on the online as i have never played it.
