When Over The Hedge was released in theatres in 2006, it became very popular with children and adults alike, and the reaction from viewers was mainly positive. The game, however, didn't get so lucky. In my opinion, games tend to lose some of their magic when they're based off a movie (with the exception of a few), and this was no exception. However, the game also had a few advantages and was nowhere near as bad as some of the latest low-quality games. It mainly followed the film's story-line, with a few extra twists to add to the gaming experience, so I don't think the game deserved the bad reputation that it got.

The noise output is a world of difference. The PS2 SL hardly makes any sound at all compared to the Original which makes playing much more enjoyable as you can actually hear the game.
Graphics have been enhanced on the SL therefore making gameplay much more realistic and fun.
I have had My PS2 SL for around 6 years now and it has been the most reliable console i have ever bought. I would highly recommend this console to anyone who is thinking of purchasing a PS2 and definately over the Original. ...
