As I am taking an A-Level in Graphics, we are constantly receiving freebies to try and test and recently, we received one of the high market Wacom models. The Cintiq 12WX came to our college wrapped in technological warmth and love, and with every part we opened, I soon found that this model was nothing like the others. The model consists of a small, thin A4 size piece of equipment with a smooth anti scratch screen and Digital Pen. I had heard that it was just like using a digital form of paper to store work, but I hadn't expected a technological wonder piece. After connecting the Wacom to a computer, the creature seemed to stir and hum as the lights slowly turned on. It felt like I was powering up a spaceship for launch, never before have I felt so much passion for a piece of machinery (in essence). I was the lucky one to have the first go as I'm a bit of a fanatic about the Wacom range. The pen slid effortlessly over the screen and it created a perfect line that not even a pencil could reproduce. Quite simply a masterpiece.
