Advantages: feels and looks good, customisable buttons Disadvantages: scratchy for some, buttons easy to click by mistake
The Wacom Bamboo One Pen is the stylus for Wacom Bamboo Graphics tablets, and unlike many graphic tablet pens, has hosts of extra features and functionality.
LOOK & FEEL
The stylus is a sleek, polished looking thing that sits comfortably in the hand and is a very similar size to a fountain pen. It sits well for use, but the buttons on the pen (see photo above) are a little too easy to click unintentionally, so make sure the pen stays at the same angle in the hand. The stylus is silver, with a gloss top half and matt bottom half, and the buttons lie a couple of centimetres from the nib itself.
The nib is white and a good size, small enough to lend accuracy but large enough not to be scratchy, and the stylus curves gently into the nib, which is a seperate piece of plastic. There is no clip on the stylus.

Advantages: Wireless without battery. Very comfortable Disadvantages: The upper button may be alittle uncomfortabe to use
Technology does wonders! I just hated the point when my wireless GripPens would run out of battery, or when I needed to struggle with the cords. This thing really does wonders. Easy to grip, very comfortable. Sometimes I wish all my pens would be that soft.

The pen tips are provided in different materials, and in couple of individuals - but honestly, I had one tip ...
Advantages: 512 levels of pressure sensitivity, paper-like feel, 4 function buttons, zoom-wheel, eraser pen-tip Disadvantages: You may have to polish the shiny function buttons to keep them shiny
This wonderful little graphics tablet is the perfect consumer-level option. This does not mean that the Bamboo is only for the amateur doodler, however - it just means that unless you're a professional architect, Bamboo is the option for you. The Bamboo is the latest generation of consumer-level Wacom tablets, and Wacom are the market leaders in digitisers.
The Bamboo is a very sleek, very stylish, thin black slab that can sit beside your keyboard or mousemat. It connects via USB to your computer and on most systems will start working straightaway; if not it also comes with an installation CD. Using this CD is advisable, because even if the Bamboo works ...
