Angel Thierry Mugler - Refillable Bottles

Advantages: Beautiful scent, beautifully presented
Disadvantages: Pricey

I have just recentlly been bought the refill bottle for the Angel eau de parfum, my very elaborate 75ml eau de parfum bottle which was bought as a birthday present was down to its last couple of sprays, so this was a lovely surprise. I expected the refill bottle to be very plain in comparison to the wonderfully packaged 'normal bottle' (designed like a star) and so was surpised to find that once again Thiery Mugler had gone to a lot of trouble to make the refill bottle equally as appealing to the eye. The refill (50ml) came in a lovely box (as per picture above) and inside was a lovely mini version of the 75ml bottle I had been given as a birthday gift. Again, a beautifully presented 'star'bottle. Pen Problems ?

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Off Colour blue

These pen refils for the 4 in 1 styles are just what it says on the label, a perfect copy of the ones in there that you can replace any spent cartridges with. They are cheap. I got mine £4 for 3 at an online store, and although I've seen better I was purchasing with a lot of other items that there the cheapest I could find anywhere. They are easy to replace, and there are simple yet easy to follow instructions on the back of the packet that guide you through the process. Nothing anyone with some common sense couldn't work out anyway. The only complaint I would have is that teh blue colour refil - the only colour that isn't already in the stylus pen - isn't the right shade. OK, so theres no set shade, but its a milkier blue than most other pens of this style, and seems to me to be a bit weak. The nibs themselves seemed strong ...

An everyday stick pen

Advantages: seems to write well
Disadvantages: none

I had to write a note today and I used a Steadtler 430m. stick pen. Looking through my stationary drawer and discovered several staedtler stick pens. Steadtler 430 m stick pens are available in Blue, red, black and green ink. These pens are as you can see from the picture have a clear plastic shaft/barrel , This is 13cm long, just less than a cm in diameter. The shaft is a hexagon with 6 straight sides this is good as it mean the pen does not easily roll of the table. You can see the ink through the plastic, its not easy to distinguish the colour from a full pen though.. At one end of the pen is a coloured stopper at the other a strong metal ball point nib. There is a plastic lid which has a clip on it so you can clip it onto the edge of your paper or jacket pocket. This lid is coloured to match the ink. This lid is also ...
