Advantages: Saving made on haircuts Disadvantages: you need to get a reliable person to help if you cant master yourself!!
...Not sure if this is the exact model Wahl but its probably near enough.
I have used a variety of hair clippers over the years but once i had my hair trimmed by a wahl-well there was no turning back, compared to others i used wahls have always done a bril job and never broke down in mid job like others i have used. I decided to buy one due to their look, reliability along with the fact every barber id been to used one form of wahl or another.
I paid £35, and have more than made that money back in savings on hair cuts. DIY is the way to go.

Advantages: long lasting and no more hairdressers Disadvantages: if not oiled every time they may pull on the hair
...I brought my wahl clippers about ten years ago. they have never let me down, I'v never had to get them fixed and as long as you give them a little oil along the edge of the blades every time you use them and don't forget to put the graders on before you start to cut the hair, you can't go wrong!!
I believe they sell for approximately £20 now. What a bargain, if you think about all those hair cuts you will be saving on in a salon! Almost two trips worth and the clippers are yours forever.
As you can see I would definitely recommend wahl clippers to any one, especially those with children or men in there house hold or may be you know someone who is just starting out in hairdressing, what a great gift....

Advantages: Powerful, Sturdy Clippers at a Good Price Disadvantages: Quite Heavy but not too bad.
...I recently bought the Wahl Super Taper hair clipper from Saloneasy.com for £33.99 (the cheapest I could find)and was extremely impressed with the power of the cut. I usually buy retail clippers from argos, but these professional clippers are far superior, and are only slightly more expensive!
According to the box, they have a powerful V5000 professional motor (im not quite sure what that means!), which is more than suitable for home cutting. It come with attachment combs number 1 - 4, and a long cable which is perfect for me as I do like to shave my own head into the kitchen sink.
I would highly recommend these clippers to anyone wanting a pair for home use, as they are designed for professional barbers so you know you are getting a high quality product at little extra expense!...
