    Advantages Advantages TASTY

Disadvantages Disadvantages MOREISH- and leave a bit of an aftertaste

Now I’m going to pre-warn you that I am currently 7 months pregnant and so I currently love food, therefore if I seem a little over zealous at times it is because I have discovered the most wonderful tasting beefy crisps that I have ever eaten!! Walkers (A brief history for you) Walkers are apparently Britain’s favourite crisp and it is estimated that 11 Million people will eat a Walkers product every day!! (I wish I had a percentage of their profits.) They started out in 1912 owned by, yes you’ve got it, Mr Walker and originally traded as a butchers during the World Wars. In 1948 Walkers ... more

Perhaps its just me or my area but those of you who are as old as me will hopefully remember that these crisps seemed to disappear for a time! Back in the dark 1980s, Monster Munch were huge. They were advertised on the tele with furry monsters stealing each others snacks and everything. Then the Roast Beef flavour seemed to simply disappear from our shelves. Sure you could still pick up Pickled Onion and Flaming Hot but where had my favourites gone? Anyway, about a year ago, they made a magical reappearance which delighted me. Why was I so excited? Read on.. Those of you who regularly read my ... more

Advantages Advantages Very nice to take a trip back to my childhood eating these

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not exactly healthy and pretty hard to find in the shops regularly

Walkers Monster Munch really holds some odd memories for me. They weren't a crisp/snack that my mum would buy really because they were too expensive, but my dad who we visited at weekends was usually willing to indulge me and my brother and on a Friday after he'd picked us up we'd go shopping and all sorts of crazy snacks and garbage would end up in the trolley, from fizzy drinks to crisps and snacks, big packs of those mini chocolate bars, and well a lot of junk food generally. We'd almost always throw in either a bag of these or a bag of Skips. As things like the Monster Munch were always at ... more

Advantages Advantages loads of flavour, cheap, good availability

Disadvantages Disadvantages flavour not spread evenly

Walkers Monster Munch - Roast Beef Flavour I like most flavours and brands of crisps but one brand and flavour that have remained a firm favourite for the last 10 year are Monster Munch, Roast Beef Flavour. Packaging The crisps come packaged in a bog standard crisps packet which is a darkish yellow colour. The Walkers logo is written across the front of the packet at the top. The word monster is written is green writing and munch is written in red writing. There is a picture of a pink monster (who looks fairly friendly to me) standing behind the monster munch logo. Finally, the flavour is ... more
