Walkers Monster Munch - Roast Beef Flavour

I like most flavours and brands of crisps but one brand and flavour that have remained a firm favourite for the last 10 year are Monster Munch, Roast Beef Flavour.

Packaging
The crisps come packaged in a bog standard crisps packet which is a darkish yellow colour. The Walkers logo is written across the front of the packet at the top. The word monster is written is green writing and munch is written in red writing. There is a picture of a pink monster (who looks fairly friendly to me) standing behind the monster munch logo. Finally, the flavour is written in the bottom right hand corner.

Price
I normally buy these crisps in multipacks from Tesco where they cost 98p for 6 packets which I think is very good value for money. In a newsagents near where I work, it cost 35p for a single packet so it better value to by them in multipacks.

Taste
The beef taste is quite synthetic but no unpleasantly so. The thing I like about Monster Munch crisps is that they are always full of flavour and definitely get your taste buds going!
They crisps themselves are very crunchy, the taste is fairly salty, and with a faint spicy flavour and then a strong beef flavour. As these crisps are corn snacks, they seem to hold the flavour better than normal crisps. Some crisps hold the flavour better than others and I like to shake the packet before eating them to ensure the flavour is evenly distributed.

Range
Monster Munch have 3 main flavours, these being Pickled Onion, Flaming Hot and Beef.

Summary
I would recommend this crisps to any crisp lover. Although the flavour is not particularly similar to that of real roast beef, they still make a delicious snack. They only have 119 calories in a packet which is better than most other crisps which average 150 calories a packet. Better still, they are a bargain at 98p for 6 packs.

These are my favourite crisps ever. Unfortunately they have apparently stopped making this flavour for individual sale. Massive mistake. And so now i have to buy multipacks - which means choosing which day to save my beef flavoured crisps for - also means eating the flamin hot ones first because i like those the least. Nice review. C.
