These are Walkers Sensations, Slow roasted lamb with Moroccan spices flavour crisps.
Walkers seem to be developing a number of different flavoured crisps, based on various dishes - now that would be a good job, going round trying different dishes from around the World, and deciding "we'll make some crisps that flavour"
*** What's the bag like? ***
The familiar white bag the Walkers use for ... ...is one of the large bags, weighing in at 150g. The picture on the front is of Moroccan lamb, and I must say, that looking at the dish on the front, I wouldn't mind the recipe for it!!
On the back it proclaims " In this bag, real cumin, cinnamon and crushed garlic bring you a mouth-watering taste of tender slow roasted lamb with aromatic Moroccan spices"
The bag as I mentioned is 150g, the nutritional information is ... more

The familiar white bag the Walkers use for their sensations range greets you. The bag I have is one of the large bags, weighing in at 150g.
The bag as I mentioned is 150g, the nutritional information is given as either 40g or 100g!! So 100g is 495 Kcals, 29g of fat (saturates 9g) 3.3g of salt.
The ingredients are Potato, vegetable oil, slow roasted lamb with Moroccan spices flavour (which has such things as lamb powder, onion powder and garlic powder) There are a number of other flavour enhancers.
It does say that the product is suitable for Coeliacs
*** What are they like? ***
Opening the bag, you are greeted by a fairly strong, but sweet smell of crisps, I must admit that I was expecting a different smell, maybe a bit more of a spicy smell. There is a slight hint of spices, but it is very subtle.
The crisps look very nice, they are a deep golden brown colour, lighter in some places, darker in others. They have some very small dark green flecks on them, these would be the spices. The crisps are actually quite thick, so there was not a lot of breakage at the bottom of the bag.
Picking a crisp out of the pack, it doesn't feel greasy as some crisps have become of late. In fact the whole bag looks fairly dry, and not covered in oil. The crisps are really crispy, they are destroyed with a resounding CRUNCH as you bite into them.
The taste is…. well they actually taste as they should do!! The taste is indeed of Lamb, but quite a spicy lamb, if you don't like spicy foods, or if you don't like lamb, then these aren't for you. When eating these, you can taste the various subtle flavours; sometimes you get a lamb taste, others you get a spice taste, the garlic taste I didn't find to be too strong (well nobody complained about me breathing over them!)
I find the blend of spices to be just right, not too spicy (for me), and not too bland, they may seem a little salty to some, but that really suits me. I didn't really feel that thirsty after eating them, as you can do with some salty type snacks.
The spicy flavour actually lasts for a long time after eating them, I found the after taste to be really pleasant.
One thing that I did find was that the taste seemed to get much stronger the further down the packet I got, so it may well be an idea to give the bag a good shake to mix it up before eating.
I bought these crisps from ASDA, and the 150g bag cost 98 pence.
So if you want a really good quality snack, then these are actually for you, probably not the healthiest thing in the world, and not if you are a vegetarian, but give them a go!
Advantages: A tastebud sensation Disadvantages: They're crisps and they're costly
...well worth the financial sacrifice and as they're crisps they are probably bad for you-however walkers are trying to reduce the saturated fat in all their crisps. i don't really care anyway. I would recommend these to anyone who has been in search of that rarest of things-a proper crisp ...

was a bit like chicken. The crisps were large and fairly thick. Not as thick as Mcoys chunkey crisps but thicker than Walkers standard crisps.
On tasting the crisps the taste was recognizable as chicken wether it is oven roast chicken is debatable. You do not get the taste of lemon on all the crisps just now and again with a slight hint of thyme. Getting different flavours with each mouth full keeps the crisps more interesting. They are not to oily or overly salty. I can actually say these are the best tasting Walkers crisps i have tasted and i will definitly be trying more of their Sensations range.
Other flavours are.
