***About Mini Milks*** Launched back in 1976, small but perfectly formed, Mini milk have been a firm favourite ever since. Itspart of the Walls Milk Time range and they come in three delicious flavours: Chocolate, Strawberry and Vanilla.
I would just describe these ice cream’s as bottled flavoured milk, but without the bottle and its obviously frozen into an ice-cream!
***Mini Milk - Vanilla*** Mini milk vanilla are my favourite flavour. I’ve always loved vanilla ice cream and it tastes really creamy and yummy, just like vanilla milkshake.
***Mini Milk - Strawberry*** For some reason, these are my least favourite, but are my boyfriend’s favourite. They are still a lovely flavour and very tasty but not my favourite.
Mini milks are about 5 & ½ inches long and are about 1 inch thick. They are quite small ice-creams, more of a good reason to have 2!
***Where can I get these*** Mini milks are sometimes sold in local shops singly, or are sold in packs of mixed flavours in supermarkets such as Sainsburys, Tesco’s, Morrison’s and other good supermarkets in packs of 12 (420ml). 1 mini milk is 35ml.
I got mine from sainsburys, which were on offer as buy 1 get 1 free. I’m pretty sure the box only cost about £3.00.
When you buy the ice creams singly obviously prices will vary in different shops, but I can get them from my local shop for 99p, which is great if kids want a treat to buy with their pocket money!
They come in a distinctive yellow box with a small cow on the front and also a picture of the 3 different flavours of mini milk. Inside the box are the individual wrapped ice creams which come in a see through packet with the walls heart logo in red on them.
The ice creams come on a traditional plain ice cream wooden stick. When I was younger they used to have jokes on the ice cream sticks, but they no longer do this.
***Taste/Texture/Smell*** Some people I know just go ahead and bite the ice cream and its gone within a minute. How-ever I like to lick the ice cream, as you get to taste the flavours a lot better. The ice creams are very creamy but not at all sickly, and I find that they are very more-ish.
When you open the packet they haven’t really got much smell to them, but once you start licking the ice cream, you can smell the gorgeous creamy chocolate, vanilla or strawberry smell.
Unlike normal ice cream/ice lollies, I find they don’t melt as quick, which is a good thing! I hate it when the ice cream drips down onto your fingers and makes them all sticky!
***Overall opinion*** These are truly yummy, so yummy I use them as a treat for myself, but admittedly sometimes I have 2 rather than one, as they can get very addictive, but as they are a good source of calcium and have only 0.7g of fat who can complain?
I would also recommend these as a treat/snack for children too, as I’m pretty sure they’ll love them. If they don’t I’d be very surprised.
Advantages: Lovely taste, not too big. Disadvantages: Too small for some people, can be bland.
When you’re fed up of those expensive Magnums, and all you want is a little bit of sweetness to cool you down in the hot weather, there is one ice lolly you’ll love and adore – Mini Milk. Not everyone has heard of Mini Milk, because it’s known as the poor man’s ice-lolly. It’s not very big, it’s not very imaginative and it’s not everyone’s favourite lolly. But, just because it’s not as good ... ...boiling hot weather like it has been recently. Mini Milk is very cheap, and if you want a little something for a child, and you don’t want to fork out much, it’s perfect. But, it’s also perfect for big kids as well, and I put myself under that category!
**The Taste**
Basically, Mini Milk is milk frozen, but much more glamorised than that. Of course there are a few added secret ingredients along the way, which makes it the Mini ...

Advantages: Kids love them, low calorie Disadvantages: Strawberry - *yuk, yuk*, flavour is too milky
The sun was blazing in Brum yesterday so we decided on an impromtu day out to Sutton Park, complete with picnic rug and a coolbox brimming with sarnies, crisps, apples and anything else I could get my hands on in the 5 minutes between deciding we were going out and getting in the car. After eating our picnic and having a stroll around the park for a couple of hours we were all feeling hot and bothered and in desperate need of a cool down, cue the ... ...moment and remembered reading an op recently about Mini Milk and being surprised how few calories were in one, so I decided to go for one of those rather than a 'packed with fat' Cornetto. Right, I'll have a strawberry one.
oOoOo THE LOOK oOoOo
Blatantly a kiddies product, my Mini Milk came in a pastel pink wrapper showing cartoon cows and plenty of hearts and flowers - my 4 year old daughter loved it! The back of the wrapper shows masses of writing! ...

Advantages: Creamy, cheap and satisfying. Disadvantages: Oh so mini!!
It's a hot summers day, the heat so intense your heads spins with dizziness, the sweat literally drips from your face. Craving something sweet to fill that peckish hole yet cold enough to help cool you down … there's only one solution and it comes in 3 flavours. Mini Milk.
What is Mini Milk?
Mini Milks are very mini frozen ice-lolly treats that are based around milk. They have been around for decades and even with today's generation, the sheer ... ...a perfect, cheap little treat for the little uns and for big kids like myself too :) Flavours?
The 3 flavours available are your basic, vanilla, strawberry and chocolate.
The vanilla flavour is based around well … milk basically. It is very sweet and very creamy which I love! It can be just like a milkshake. But it can be a bit sickly too if you're a bit of a gannet like me and like to scoff more than one … oops! Yet I've also found that it is ...

==Walls Mini Milk Lollies== Well after last night's disaster with the cheesecake, I thought that I would try again with a different dessert, as we always like something sweet to finish a meal. I was shopping in Tesco and came across these lollies on offer - they reminded me of sunny days and my childhood, so I put them in the trolley. They also reminded me of the dreadful time when I experimented and tried to make my own by pouring a glass of milk ... ...home! ===What are they like?=== These lollies come in a pack of twelve individually wrapped milk lollies, in the flavours of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. The packaging is nice and bright with an orange box, with pictures of the lollies themselves on the front along with some cows and fresh strawberries. It clearly states that they are rich in calcium and are made with fresh milk. It also tells us that they are free from artificial colours and ...

Advantages: Low in fat, tasty, great fun! Disadvantages: Dissappear to quickly
These miniature milky treats really do make me feel like I’m 5 years old again. Whenever it was hot and we were allowed an ice cream my mum would always buy me mini milk. I still don’t know if this was down to the fact they were small and I wouldn’t be able to eat a big ice cream, or just the fact that they were cheap! lol!
These mini milks can be bought separately or in a multi pack. I have a nice big box in the freezer now which I got the weekend.
... ...yellow. This is nice and bright and stands out to the consumer (oh don’t I sound posh!). This isn’t what made me buy them. However, it draw my attention to them and I realised I hadn’t had them for years and so bought them. There is also a cartoon picture of 2 little cows (that are rather cute I must say) and a cartoon picture of 3 mini milks in different colours which immediately tells you the flavours there are without having to say it. There is ...

This yummy, fruity Solero Smoothie lolly's are made from Walls and are Strawberry and Banana flavour. They also do other flavours in the Solero range but these are not in the smoothie range. Advantages: It's cereal, nutrious and delicous! Lovely variety Disadvantages: Expensive but there are cheaper alternatives so all is good
I am a complete cereal addict and could practically live of the stuff (if I didn't enjoy other foods aswell, lol.) I eat the little selection boxes of cereals out the packets like crisps and I always have bowl of cereal before bed when I get midnight munchies . I'm sad enough to keep a bowl and spoon plus a jug of milk in my mini fridge and a cupboard above my 'hole in the wall' wardrobe stacked ful of cereals! That's how obssessed I am. It just saves me going downstairs, plus, no one can nick my cereals. Rice Krispies is particually vunerable when my mum is around as she is partial to the odd bowl, so we have a box each.
Rice Krispies are produced by my favourite market leader - Kelloggs. They've been around for abolutely yonks and I always used to have them as a kid before I wet school. They are, lets get straight to basics here ...
