Advantages five flavours, variety, fun, cool-down

Disadvantages a bit unhealthy!

If you have not tasted this tongue-twisting tingling sensation, you really do not know what you are missing...

*****
I remember eating Twister lollies on the hot and sticky days of Summer to cool down when I was younger, and I can safely say they worked! One 80ml Twister lolly provided about twenty minutes of edible fun, a nice refreshing drink, and a calming cool-down!

So much enjoyment came from eating Twister lollies! People indulge on the treat in many different ways. Me, well I like to lick off all the vanilla ice cream first! It has such a sweet taste to it, a soft and creamy sensation. So smooth and light, it wakes up the taste buds, informing them that it is time for a fantastic treat!

The second part of the Twister I eat is the pineapple and lime rim, or more commonly known as the 'green bit'. By this stage, the fruity helter skelter has already began to melt, so it is quite smooth and refreshing. Just one lick of this and I am away in the clouds, such a heavenly taste, with a 'kick' of adventure in it! After licking away all the loose juice, just a little amount of soft flavoured ice is left, which is quite easy to nibble down without hurting your teeth!

Now for the final part of the lolly. By this stage, most lollies would become boring, you'd be used to the taste, the texture…but not with the Twister! When you have finally licked your way down to this layer, a sweet and refreshing cylinder of strawberry and lemon ice is revealed. Remaining refreshing and cool, it hugs the lolly pop stick, staring out at you to be sucked away. So tempting, you can't help yourself!

*****
Ok, so you must be thinking that a treat so scrumptious and delectable must be so unhealthy, and full of 'junk'! I cannot lie, of course there are healthier options! But they do not fit the same purpose! What other snack can provide refreshment, sensation AND fun?!

In each 80ml Twister treat, you can find:

83 calories
12.4g sugar
1.8g fat
1.5g saturates****Packaging****
Bought singley from shops, Twisters can be found in a shiny lime green packet with the Wall's logo, and the word 'Twister' steched out across the front in bold white letters, leaping out, with a twister swirl underneath it. This cooling effect makes the summer treat appear even more appealing and attractive!

Twisters can also be purchased in shops in packs, either normal size, or mini snack sizes, and come in a variety of other flavours, giving you even more choice!

*****
So eaten in moderation, the Twister lolly is an amazing, taste bud tingling treat! Five flavours, a variety of textures, together providing a party on your tongue!
