I have been a Walsall supporter for 15 years. Although I don't get to many games these days, the best bits can always be seen on Televison.
It was a disappointment for Walsall to be relegated last season after only one season in Division One. This was primarily due to lack of spending by the club. However, this year, whilst spending is still at a low level, new signings have been of a higher standard.The team now has the enthusiasm, drive and commitent to achieve promotion once more, and hopefully stay in the First Division long enough to be considered as a First Division club, not just a short term resident !
Anyone who goes to Bescot Stadium can expect to see an entertaining match, with (unfortunately) goals at both ends, as our defensive performance still needs improvement. If we don't go up this year, defence will be the reason.
