Shaun Hutson isn't exactly noted for thought-provoking, ground-breaking novels, so by his standards this is something of a departure.He even attempts something vaguely like satire!This is longer than his usual books, so the gore is a bit thinner on the ground, but it doesn't really suffer for that.
