Great Customer Service but poor/inconsistent claims handling

The following is my opinion and/or personal experience of Warranty Direct. I purchased the 'extensive' extra care warranty from WD approx 6 months ago, at a cost of around £300 pa. (with wear & tear from inception) The vehicle has been subject to a major service at Main Dealer the day before inception. ...was an outdated list of network approved garages; of the three provided in my area - one was a body repair shop, one was closed down and the other didnt provide loan cars. Luckily I had paid the extra premium and was able to take the car to a garage of my choice. warrantywise - pleasantly surprised!

Advantages: friendly, professional and true to their word.

...i had taken out a warranty with warrantywise! I booked online which was quick and easy, i called up and spoke to the sales department to make sure everything was ok with the booking and everything had gone through fine. A few months down the line i needed to make a claim, what a pleasant surprise i had with the simplicity of the claims process. Vauxhall Mot Insurance with abbraxas

Advantages: Saved me a lot of money!!!
Disadvantages: if its not covered then u lose out

I had the misfortune to choose Private Vehicle Warranty to purchase a warranty for my vehicle. A Mr Mike Woolley runs this company from Fulham - he was very eager to take my money although apparently this was to line his own pocket.
