My daughter is a keen swimmer and had developed verrucas from her visits to the pool. I had been painting another salicylic acid based wart product on her feet on a nightly basis and the verrucas kept on growing instead of shrinking! I also developed a few small warts on my fingers at the same time possibly because of handling my daughters feet and my friend recommended wartner as it had worked for her.

Using The Product
Adults
Insert one of the small foam applicators into the key and put into the top of the bottle. Press the key down to release the product onto the foam and immediately press down onto your wart for 20 seconds. It is really cold and fairly painful but just grit your teeth and it will soon be over.
Child 1st application was without too much problem. On subsequent applications child would run screaming from the room at the mention of wartner. It took one adult to hold the top half of the child down and another to hold the foot still and freeze the verrucas.
Did It Work
My tiny warts took only one application to clear, after applying the Wartner they were a bit painful and developed a small blister which disappeared leaving healthy skin behind. The smaller verrucas took a couple of applications and one massive painful one took around 5 applications before the core fell out of it.
My Verdict
This product is expensive, currently £12.99 in Boots and £9.99 from my local co-op chemist and it is also fairly painful to use. I had already spent £10 on 2 packets of verruca cream which never worked Wartner ended up proving to be better value for money than using cheaper products and it was also easier than going back and forwards to see the practice nurse to get the warts and verrucas frozen there. After trying a couple of OTC products designed to get rid of verrucas I would say that this is the one that was most effective and on this basis I would recommend it.
Advantages: If it works, you can treat warts/veruccas without visiting a GP. No messy gels, no plasters. Disadvantages: Doesn't work, very expensive.
A couple of months ago I discovered a small wart at the base of my thumb; I was horrified and immediately started thinking of ways to get rid of it. It didn't really look that bad, but nevertheless, I searched a variety of different chemists and pharmeceutical stores until I finally found a good one. WartnerWartRemover seemed the most promising, and was definitely the most expensive. And expensive things are usually the best, right? Well, that's what I thought anyway. Until I brought it home, endured the burning pain while the Wartner got to work, and then discovered that it hadn't affected the wart at all.
.What does Wartner do and how does it work?.
Apparently, Wartner will remove your warts by immediately freezing the core of the wart or verruca. A blister is formed under the treated area and over the next ten days, the wart ...

Advantages: If it worked, simple and clean Disadvantages: Didn't work for me.
I was horrified recently to find a small wart of about 4mm diameter had appeared on the inside of my thumb on my right hand. I had experienced a wart once before many years ago in my teens but as an adult it was something I was not prepared to tolerate.
I visited my local pharmacy for advise on products available for removal and was given two options. Compound W, which I remember from my youth and surprised me to see it still around and a brand new product, Wartner. The assistant in the pharmacy assured me that the new product had had some very good reports.
I asked the price of both products to compare, the Compound W, a liquid, was around £3.50 and the Wartner, an aerosol, was £10.50 for 10 treatments.
Looking at the instructions for the Wartner, it looked clean, simple and effective, removingwarts/Verrucas with one 20 second ...

What are Warts:
*****************
Warts are benign growths recognised by their rough "cauliflower" appearance.
Verrucas are formed in the same way but generally have a brown spot, they can be flat or rough in appearance.
They are both very infectious.

In comes in a blue and white box with Wartner written down the side and a picture of a hand and a foot being treated with the applicator inside the pack. It is a Wart and Verruca remover and contains enough for up to 10 applications, supposedly. I say supposedly, as you will read why later. On the side of the box is directions for the easy 3 step application and on the back is information about the product and the Manufacturer, which is, believe it or not, is Wartner Medical Products, funny that! It also stated that ...
