** A QUICK HISTORY LESSON **
The origins of Warwick Castle date as far back as the year 914, when the daughter of Alexander the Great ordered the building of an earthen rampart to protect the hilltop town of Warwick from the invading Danish.
It has been visited by the like of Queen Elizabeth I, King William III and Queen Victoria to name but a few.
** WHERE **
Warwick Castle is located in (funnily enough) Warwickshire, in the picturesque town of Warwick. My other half did actually check that this was so as he said he knew that sometimes places (like Leeds Castle) are not where you might assume they should be.
I would advise that you use a route planner to find them as I can never follow directions very well and my geography is rubbish, at least with websites like www.routemap.com or www.theaa.co.uk you get a map along ...

Advantages: great stying Disadvantages: cars limitations
For the last week now I have been the proud owner of a 206 LX 1.4 HDi, and I have covered just under 1000 miles on a combination of motorways, country b-roads and town driving with between one and four bodies on board. The 1.4 common-rail turbodiesel engine has 68BHp and 115lb/ft of torque available at 2000rpm, so when you need to pull away from something you can do so easily. On paper, the 1.4 petrol is faster but in real-world driving the immediacy of the torque delivery on the HDi means that it feels quicker.
All 206s come with independent suspension all-round, and you can certainly ...

Advantages: Cheap on parts, cheap on road tax, cheap and chearful Disadvantages: Poor handling, sluggish, prone to rust.
one way, the car carries on in the same direction ! ) usually towards the curb, resulting in more work for me by replacing the lower wishbone arms, (or the rear axle if that hit first !! ).
There is a lot of body roll in cornering, due to the weak standard suspension, and high profile tyres. But if you want a high performance car ...... dont buy a 1.4LX !!
*** Tekki stuff ***
These are the areas to look out for when buying a second hand escort of this year, if in doubt , take someone with you, who you can trust, who knows about cars, ( you'll save in the long term ).
Some of you escort owners may have already noticed water dripping onto your passengers feet ! , this is caused by a rotted battery tray, very common on escorts, rain will run down and find its way to the floor, repair will involve removal of the dashboard ( to ...
