...warranty. As its electronics only Hotpoint can repair it. They want to charge £160 to repair with a 1 year warranty. A quick look on the internet and talking to some independent repairmen shows that this is a very unreliable model. So who knows how long it would last after that year! We bought ours in December because it sounded like it could handle large loads and we thought our tumble dryer would be the next appliance to go so it seemed sensible to get a washer/dryer at the time.
