Advantages: Very quiet, stylish, energy saving..... Need I go on?? Disadvantages: Have not found one as yet!
...reviews before eventually choosing the Hotpoint BHWM129, which was described by some as having a built in fully functional laundry in your kitchen.
It has a large wash load of 6.5kg which is useful for washing larger items like bath towels or even duvets but also leaves fewer creases in clothes when a smaller load is put in.
It has an energy rating of A, which is the best you get and will save you money by using a lot less electricity and as it ... ...and the environment.
Similarly it has a top of the range wash performance rating again of A, which simply means it gives the best wash performance available and is proven to be super efficient at removing stains.
It has a hand wash function which is particularly useful if you have a lot of clothes marked for hand wash only but have no time or just can't be bothered with hand washing you can now use this very delicate wash to save any hand washing.

Advantages: Great machine! Disadvantages: If used improperly may leave you're kitchen floor covered in detergent
...We finally decided on the Indesit SIXL 145S because it pretty much met all the above criteria though we did have to get over the opaque door which although seeming very small it was a weird notion not to be able to see the washing at all until the cycle finished. As previously stated we bought it from the Argos catalogue which is the general done thing in my house for some reason. We got free delivery and a very kind man installed it for us for no ... ...I do love the new Indesit and might even goes as far as to say it's even better than the old Hotpoint washer, like a prettier, younger more virile model. The machine has a multitude of great little features including: * Automatic washing temperature regulation. * A Load Balancing System * Rinse Management controlled by sensors which extends the rinse cycle until there is no detergent left. Before you rush out and buy you should note that if you ...
Advantages: washer and dryer in one. Disadvantages: cycles take forever, will make quite a noise when it operates at 1600 speed spin.
How they can call this machine super silent I don't know. Users who say it is quite are not using the 1600 spin (granted this is only on offer for the cotton cycle). Although visually the machine looks good with a digital display, the brains seem very old and I am very disappointed as I expected a lot from this appliance. If I could return it I would get a low cost washer and dryer as two separate machines - thats what I have in my second property ... ...same. Creases Galore (The drum is fairly small even though the wash is rated at 8kg). Larger drums = less creases. Good for small spaces, but don't bother getting the 1600 model. Although given the poor cycle times, it might be best to avoid this series all together. One strange item to report: if you don't undo the buttons of your shirts and run the 1600 cycle, the machine somehow breaks the buttons into pieces :( ...

Review of Hotpoint WMD960G
Advantages: A 30 minute wash cycle. Disadvantages: Nothing major.
...next in line were the Beko models which were all competitively priced, I have not had a Beko model before but family members have and they have had no problems.
I ended up ordering the Beko WM5100 in a white finish and that cost me £199 with free delivery.
The washing machine arrived and as usual we had to install it. The machine is a cold water fill and it is fairly simple to install really, you just fix the hose to the cold water supply, put ... ...slimline it is .
The Beko WM500 is in a white finish and as soon as you look at it you realise that it is not going to take a degree in electronics to be able to work it.
The Beko washing machine has just one main control knob in the centre of the control panel and some smaller buttons that you press for what are called the auxiliary functions ( pre-wash, extra rinse, spin speed, no spin, no heat and rinse hold ).
The on and off button sits beside ...
