The Eco friendly Zanussi ZXF 12070 Advantages: Eco friendly Disadvantages: none to speak of yet!! ...from Curry's as our old Zanussi had finally ground to a halt. We paid approximately £320 for the new Zanussi but this included the removal of the old machine. On receiving it I was a bit daunted at first by the different numbers on the dial but on reading the instruction manual provided and once I started using it I found the Zanussi very easy and efficient to use. WASHER REPAIR TO BWD 129 HOTPOINT Advantages: SILENT MACHINE Disadvantages: POOR REPAIR SERVICE ...INDICATING A FAULT. I CONTACTED HOTPOINT IN ORDER TO GET IT REPAIRED. THEY SENT OUT THE FIRST REPAIR MAN WHO SPENT 61 MINUTES FIXING THE MACHINE AFTER. MY WIFE CAME IN THAT EVENING TO BEGIN WASHING AND LOW AND BEHOLD THE FLASHING RED LIGHTS CAME ON AGAIN WITHIN 5 MINUTES OF STARTING THE DRYING CYCLE. AFTER QUITE A LENGTHY TELEPHONE DELAY IN TRYING TO CONTACT HOTPOINT I EVENTUALLY BOOKED IN ANOTHER REPAIR DATE. THE REPAIR MAN CAME MADE ANOTHER DIAGNOSIS ... ...REPAIR DATE. I DULY TELEPHONED HOTPOINT , AFTER AGAIN A LENGTHY DELAY AND EXPRESSED MY DISSATISFACTION WITH THEIR SERVICE. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER HOTPOINT MACHINE AGAIN, I ASKED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR FOR COMPENSATION AFTER SPENDING OVER £30 IN THE LAUNDRY BUT TO NO AVAIL - THEY SAID THEY DO NOT OFFER COMPENSATION, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED -STEER CLEAR OF HOTPOINT. ... Theres no (hot) point in buying any other machine! Advantages: Very quiet, stylish, energy saving..... Need I go on?? Good Value For Money Advantages: Good Value Disadvantages: Not well know brand I"The Beko WM5100s offers excellent value for money. Its 8Kg load and large door makes it ideal for Duvet's and towels. It is simple to operate and as a useful time delay function, so can be set so that your washing is ready when you require it, not left for hours wet in the tub after the cycle. Its so quiet that you cant believe its actually going. Indesit Moon - Brilliant washing Machine A1 performance Advantages: easy to use and clean! and no faults! Disadvantages: i dont have any! The indesit Moon Collection of washing machines are great. I purchased my machine nearly a year ago after my previous two machines had problems. I was very nervous in purchasing another machine as I had so many faults with my last two machines resulting in my kitchen being flooded twice! When the Moon arrived it was like a spaceship from heaven! They are a great design and very modern and come in lots of different colours. I think they are easy ... ...is great to keep and refer to as it covers all types of washes delicates, whites, colour and wool cycles and confirms the quick buttons on the machine to be able to wash on these cycles. They also have easy to remove compartments on the door which you put your powder and fabric conditioner in, this allows you to clean the machine compartments when needed.
