A good machine if you can stand the noise Advantages: Washes well Disadvantages: Extremely noisy throughout most of the operation Advertised as Silent System Whisper Quiet Operation, this is the noisiest washing machine we have ever owned, and we have had several. After first use we complained, and the engineer changed a pump, with no improvement. A second pump of a different type was fitted, with marginal improvement. Two faulty machines in a row Advantages: none Disadvantages: faulty, could not use I bought this model from Argos Direct on 15.11.09. First machine broke down in the middle of its first cycle leaving the clothes soaked in soapy water, ruining the whole wash. It did not heat the water (it uses only cold fill), stopped responding to buttons after I tried to change the broken program to rinse or spin in attempt to save the wash. The replacement one was delivered two weeks later and did not even bother to react to pressing its buttons ...
