Advantages: Very quiet, stylish, energy saving..... Need I go on?? Disadvantages: Have not found one as yet!
...reviews before eventually choosing the Hotpoint BHWM129, which was described by some as having a built in fully functional laundry in your kitchen.
It has a large wash load of 6.5kg which is useful for washing larger items like bath towels or even duvets but also leaves fewer creases in clothes when a smaller load is put in.
It has an energy rating of A, which is the best you get and will save you money by using a lot less electricity and as it ... ...and the environment.
Similarly it has a top of the range wash performance rating again of A, which simply means it gives the best wash performance available and is proven to be super efficient at removing stains.
It has a hand wash function which is particularly useful if you have a lot of clothes marked for hand wash only but have no time or just can't be bothered with hand washing you can now use this very delicate wash to save any hand washing.

Advantages: Rock solid and good number of features Disadvantages: Whatever I feed my kids they always get it down their clothes!
...a brand new model from Bosch and it was recommended by the website I bought it from (http://www.internetkitchenappliances.co.uk/feed). I only took delivery a few weeks ago but as a mum of 4 I am really happy with the selection of programmes and little features like the time remaining, shorter quick wash programmes and the variable spin speeds. When they told me how much a good built in washer would cost I freaked out but I think it's a good idea ...
Advantages: Size and efficiency Disadvantages: Complicated instructions and dials
This was an alright washing machine that I used when at a friend's house. It was certainly capable of doing light loads and taking out all stains accrued (wine spillages...) however I was fairly stumped by the instruction manual that seemed to have been written more for the engineer than the consumer. The different knobs and dials were fairly awkward and it took a couple of tries to get the washing machine setting that I was after for the first couple ... ...had put on was on the shoe section. Not really what I was after! As long as you possess this insider knowledge, you should be fine. I did enjoy the clean smell that came from the machine as previous washing machines haven't been nearly so efficient. It is very nicely compact and for a small household, this can be seen as an excellent purchase and it does deliver exactly what it says. I was very pleased with this machine and must admit that I was ...
Advantages: does what it's supposed to Disadvantages: very long cycle times, can be shortened but only slightly
...also my friend has a SMEG washing machine.
This appliance does everything you need for a washing machine. You can vary the spin speed from 1600 down to 600 depending on the type of fabric so is quite flexible. Across the top of the appliance you have the soap/conditioner drawer which is divided into prewash and was soap and a separate compartment for fabric conditioner. Next you have the buttons which control the start/stop, fast-forward, easy-iron, ... ...on the right is a dial which you use to select the cycle.
There are 3 main programmes broken into fabric type each with sub-programmes of varying temperature and spin speed:
* cottons (7 sub programmes: Cold, 30º, 40º, 60º,60º with prewash, 75º with prewash, 90º)
* wools (1 sub program: 35º & no spin)
* synthetics (2 sub-programmes: 40º, 60º both at 900 rpm)
It also comes with the following separate programmes that you can use in a series or ...

Review of Smeg WMI16AAA
Advantages: Wide variety of wash cycles, Very easy to use and clean, Great reliability. Disadvantages: Loud spin cycle.
...being advised to buy a Beko dishwasher I was rather sceptical about the brand, though this time I was promised that this Beko WMB10W washing machine really was good. I was not disappointed and thus far I have had little problem with it. Quality/Performance On paper the WMB10W is a good but not great washing machine, with B ratings for Efficiency and Wash quality and a C for Spin quality. Regardless of the ratings, it performs very well indeed. ... ...it still washes well, even at 30°. Regular cycles take around 3 hours, with the options for a prewash or a quick wash lengthening or shortening the time taken. There are a multitude of options, including multiple temperatures for cottons, synthetics and woollens. A hand wash and a lone spin cycle are also possible. The spin cycle speed is also customisable for delicates and woollens. The front loading window is very generous, larger than some other ...
