...As I had owned several Bosch tools and found them incredibly reliable and of good quality, I suggested we go this time for a Bosch and having owned this machine now for around 6 months, it was certainly no mistake. We purchased the Bosch ClassiXX6 1200. We got our machine from Comet, who delivered it the following day and took away our old Hoover at no extra cost. Quiet and Powerful I was amazed at the quietness of the machine as it went through ... ...Enough said! But this Bosch brought a smile to my face as my wife said to me, “it’s spinning, can you hear it?” I could barely discern a faint noise as I listened carefully. I couldn’t resist but go into the kitchen to take a look. The machine was on its full 1200 speed and there was just a slight visible vibration. On full spin, our old Hoover had often ‘danced’ its way from under the worktops and had finished up in the middle of the kitchen floor ...

Advantages: Economical, efficient and quiet Disadvantages: None for me
BOSCH 1200 CLASSIXX 5
When I moved four years ago I was moving to a much smaller home and left all my heavy kitchen equipment behind and started afresh.
Due to shortage of kitchen space I wanted a washing machine that would fit into a shed outside, so appearance wasn’t my main concern.
I wanted my machine NOW, I can’t be doing with having to wait weeks for company’s to deliver goods and we had a car at the time that the machine would fit ... ...machines I opted for the Bosch 1200 Classixx 5, at Comet store in Lancaster. The strongest selling point of the machine was the price; it was on special offer at just £249.00 and had a free five-year parts warranty. Also it was from a well-known manufacturer - Bosch, and the dimensions of the machine were perfect for the space I had.
To top it all Comet had one in stock for us to take home there and then.

...a brand new model from Bosch and it was recommended by the website I bought it from (http://www.internetkitchenappliances.co.uk/feed). I only took delivery a few weeks ago but as a mum of 4 I am really happy with the selection of programmes and little features like the time remaining, shorter quick wash programmes and the variable spin speeds. When they told me how much a good built in washer would cost I freaked out but I think it's a good idea ...

Me and my partner purchased this washing machine about 18 months ago when we moved into our new house and paid about £280 for it. The machine is brilliant - it has a large loading capacity, various different cycles to choose from, is very quick (about an hour and 10 mins for a full load) and is reasonably quiet. Clothes always come out very clean, even if heavily soiled. The spin cycle is very good - it can be quite noisy if you just put on the spin ...

Review of Bosch WAE 2416
Advantages: NONE Disadvantages: Length of time for wash, Poor wash, Leaking, over-sensitive balance
I bought this machine about 6 months ago as a fairly basic work horse machine. It is cold fill and supposed to be green & economical to run - huh!
Firstly it takes 2.5 hours for a full cotton wash and I would question how 2.5 hours electricity saves much over heating the water a bit more. I don't have that time to wait for a wash to finish - so what economy?
Quickwash is just a swill round - nothing more.
The balance mechanism is so delicate that ... ...still dripping - more waste of power and time. On several occasions it has leaked water when taking in either through the soap drawer or today - the door!
I like to hang washing outside when possible but half the day has gone before the wash has finished.
I did have a fault soon after purchasing and I must say that was cheerfully and speedily fixed. This is the only good thing I have to say.
