So far the machine has met our expectations in every way. It was described as 57cm deep, however the top of the machine is only 53cm deep - the front then gently curves outward to a depth of 57cm so does not look out of place even if not pushed right back ... ...no wheels on the machine so it was VERY difficult to slide into position over our cushioned lino floor - spraying some polish on the floor helped a lot - dont know how easy it will come back out though. Our old machine had 2 wheels atthe back so ou could tilt it back slightly and roll it nto place.
Instructions were quite easy to understand and the machine is very simple to use. It is reasonably quiet - on the 1400 spin it sounds as if it is going ...

Me and my partner purchased this washing machine about 18 months ago when we moved into our new house and paid about £280 for it. The machine is brilliant - it has a large loading capacity, various different cycles to choose from, is very quick (about an hour and 10 mins for a full load) and is reasonably quiet. Clothes always come out very clean, even if heavily soiled. The spin cycle is very good - it can be quite noisy if you just put on the spin ...

Review of Bosch WAE 2416
Advantages: Rock solid and good number of features Disadvantages: Whatever I feed my kids they always get it down their clothes!
...a brand new model from Bosch and it was recommended by the website I bought it from (http://www.internetkitchenappliances.co.uk/feed). I only took delivery a few weeks ago but as a mum of 4 I am really happy with the selection of programmes and little features like the time remaining, shorter quick wash programmes and the variable spin speeds. When they told me how much a good built in washer would cost I freaked out but I think it's a good idea ...

what is the problem with the machine?
ME: seven out of ten times it doesn't spin properly and I get error codes on the digital screen
what spin cycle do you use?
ME: All of them but mainly sport and quick wash
well they don't spin on a quick and sport wash, it's a short spin so they will come out wet
ME: whats the point in that? and ... ...them again it doesn't spin properly then either and brings up a error code
you are either putting too much washing in or not enough
ME: I just want to wash clothes not weigh them before I put them in, whats too much and too little, it's hard to find the happy medium that means I can actually get the machine to spin
just put half a load in at a time, could you tell me the error code you are getting
