...a brand new model from Bosch and it was recommended by the website I bought it from (http://www.internetkitchenappliances.co.uk/feed). I only took delivery a few weeks ago but as a mum of 4 I am really happy with the selection of programmes and little features like the time remaining, shorter quick wash programmes and the variable spin speeds. When they told me how much a good built in washer would cost I freaked out but I think it's a good idea ...

This was an alright washing machine that I used when at a friend's house. It was certainly capable of doing light loads and taking out all stains accrued (wine spillages...) however I was fairly stumped by the instruction manual that seemed to have been written more for the engineer than the consumer. The different knobs and dials were fairly awkward and it took a couple of tries to get the washing machine setting that I was after for the first couple ... ...had put on was on the shoe section. Not really what I was after! As long as you possess this insider knowledge, you should be fine. I did enjoy the clean smell that came from the machine as previous washing machines haven't been nearly so efficient. It is very nicely compact and for a small household, this can be seen as an excellent purchase and it does deliver exactly what it says. This appliance does everything you need for a washing machine. You can vary the spin speed from 1600 down to 600 depending on the type of fabric so is quite flexible. Across the top of the appliance you have the soap/conditioner drawer which is divided into prewash and was soap and a separate compartment for fabric conditioner. Next you have the buttons which control the start/stop, fast-forward, easy-iron, ... ...on the right is a dial which you use to select the cycle.
There are 3 main programmes broken into fabric type each with sub-programmes of varying temperature and spin speed:
* cottons (7 sub programmes: Cold, 30º, 40º, 60º,60º with prewash, 75º with prewash, 90º)
* wools (1 sub program: 35º & no spin)
* synthetics (2 sub-programmes: 40º, 60º both at 900 rpm)

...After viewing the reviews on LG we decided to buy it. I bought from Dixons online.They phoned us on the night before delivery to let us know which time we would expected the machine, This was very useful so we could plan our day. The delivery was punctual and efficient. Good points: economical, silent, easy to use, takes a massive 9kg, shows on the screen how long the wash cycle is and we can manually change the spin from 0 ( no spin) to 1400 ...
