...after buying I found that Hotpoint are now part of Indesit. Our previous machine was Indesit and it lasted less than 3 years. The Hotpoint is the same size but seems to wash a whole lot better. The controls are are easy to master and operation is simple. Disadvantages: Noise, noise, noise!

...I would definitely be wary of buying another hotpoint washing machine. I need something which is built to last and copes with the rigours of everyday family life reliably and quietly. Sadly, I think the Hotpoint BWM12 does not completely fit the bill, but will have to do for now! ...

Bosch WAE28364GB Classixx 6 1400 Express - Good buy

Advantages: Easy to use, fast spin, wide opening door, economy.
Disadvantages: Difficult to move into position without wheels - might be typical of most modern machines ?
