Disadvantages: Larger than average size

I have owned this machine and its sister tumble dryer for seven years now and they have been in constant use. I have had absolutely no problems with either of them, they are the real 'workhorses' of the washing machine world. I had them serviced last week, just because I thought I should after so much use and the engineer couldn't find anything wrong. I love the fact that I can fit almost a whole binful in at a time and I love how quick the cycle ...
...size washing machine. These have to be seen to be believed, they are big but I wouldn't be without them. The only disadvantage I have found is due to their size. They do not fit in all modern utility rooms. We had to discount several new houses we looked at as they wouldn't have fitted. That said, our present house just needed a bit of a re-jig. ...the currently available (June 2006) Whirlpool toploaders we were interested in: (LSQ8000 ?old model), (3) LSQ8033, and (3) GSC9400, both on current Whirlpool website, because they are fairly well advertised. When our old Servis washing machine blew up we decided to buy this whirlool principally because it was in a sale. Machine The machine has specific functions for syntehetics cottons wool colours Some of these cycles are over 2hours long The machine also has a daily wash cycle which is an hour long and cleans the clothes perfectly well. It also has a quick wash function which is only 30 minutes and is ideal for washing clothes in a hurry although ...
...You can use the machine to set the temperature of the water and it can go down to 30 degrees but the clothes do not seem as clean. The draw in the machine for the wash powder can accomodate both powder and liquid detergents. It cn also hold fabric softeener and pre wash detergent. The 1400 spin means that the clothes are not driopping wet when coming out of the machine. If you wish you can vary the spin speedon certain cycles but i keep it on 1400. ... Read review
