My experience of Zanussi is very poor, I bought a ZWF 1631 W. No problems for 2 years 6 months then motor and brain failure. (Is this an acceptable life span for a £350 product?) As the machine was outside warrenty and uneconomical to repair I accepted a contribution offer for a new machine on the understanding they would deliver in 10 days, install and take away the old machine. I bought this from apollo 2000, easy to plumb in, hot and cold hose at the back with an outlet pipe. Although it did take some undoing, with large bolts to undo that hold the barrel in place. after the ease of installing, read the instructions it can do wonders, it has an easy dial on the front where you can choose from whites, bed and bath, to coloured and silks, you dont have to stick to the options as you can choose to wash things manually. I have owned the Indesit WIE167 for just over 18 months. I had the electronic board replaced after just 3 months as the programmes were not working. However since then it has worked perfectly and I would still recommend this, I just felt as with most things there are going to be the odd 'faulty' one.
