The pits Advantages: NONE Disadvantages: Length of time for wash, Poor wash, Leaking, over-sensitive balance I bought this machine about 6 months ago as a fairly basic work horse machine. It is cold fill and supposed to be green & economical to run - huh! Firstly it takes 2.5 hours for a full cotton wash and I would question how 2.5 hours electricity saves much over heating the water a bit more. I don't have that time to wait for a wash to finish - so what economy? Quickwash is just a swill round - nothing more. The balance mechanism is so delicate that ... ...still dripping - more waste of power and time. On several occasions it has leaked water when taking in either through the soap drawer or today - the door! I like to hang washing outside when possible but half the day has gone before the wash has finished. I did have a fault soon after purchasing and I must say that was cheerfully and speedily fixed. This is the only good thing I have to say. Shocking things to know about haier's Advantages: Good if you get one which actually works Disadvantages: it's much faster to list the good points about this machine almost everything is bad ...loads and loads of these haier washing machines and what i can reveal is quite shocking 75% of these machines develop at least one fault within the first year most common being the pcb (printed circuit board) reseving a poor signal from the taco on the motor making the machine belleve it's unbaleneced this however isn't the only problem motor brushes WILL melt in some cases catch fire and finally the bearings are constantly failing, theres a reason ... white good? more like white elephant!!!!! Advantages: very easy to use even a man could do it Disadvantages: unreliable,noisy,poor quality complete waste of money. 3 month lifespan of parts.useless ...argos i clicked,i found this HAIER for not that many quid. 1400 spin speed..29 minute quick wash all for £100 less than the BOCSH! 2 Weeks came and so did the machine, so fancy and white made my washing gleam. 5 weeks later my HAIER broke! it's a new machine! surely it's a joke? so i picked up the phone and spoke to the ARGOS bloke. A pepair was arranged 2 weeks it took,and the washing resumed i needed to catch up. 12 weeks later it happened again,but ... ...the kitchen floor,refused to spin just like before. the washing was no longer clean and fresh,and now buying this machine i regret. w mack Advantages: price and specification Disadvantages: poor quality, amount of faults Started off well. Quite good wash but within weeks stopped taking in all of the washing tablets, so clothes not washing as well. It then started to leak water out of the drawer on final spin on full loads. Lucky for us it's in the garage as if it had been in my kitchen my flooring would have been ruined, drum then started to be quite noisy. Eco Beko Advantages: Economical with a good selection of programmes Disadvantages: Only 5kg maximum load ...old washing machine with a Beko and wow what a difference. Not only is the machine more compact it is also A+ energy efficient. My old machine was noisy, time consuming and temperamental towards the end which is why I am so pleased with the efficiency and quality of this product. I ordered the Beko WM5140W from Pixmania for only £179 and after it was efficiently and professional unpacked and installed by the delivery team I was eager to start clearing ... ...days.
