Hoover SE230 Fab machine Advantages: Energy efficient Disadvantages: None This washing machine is a lot quieter than most and doesn't jump across the floor like most either. This model has only enough room for a 5Kg load but the next one up has enough room for 6Kg which is handy if you have a big family. This machine only has a cold water inlet which is a good idea cause it doesn't use up all you hot water, especially if you use electric to heat your water like i do! It has the standard 3 compartment draw for powder, tablets ... ...wash cycles, including a quick wash cycle which takes 32 minutes to complete. Easy to operate, and it's energy efficient so it's not going to cost a lot to do a wash. The Incredible Value Washing Machine! Advantages: Simplicity of use Disadvantages: relatively slow max spin speed ...say, that until acquiring my Hoover HNF7127 ('Nextra 7'), I did not pay a lot of attention to economy, spin speed etc. nor the various wash types - I have always been a strictly - 'everything on program 5 - except for woollies that go on program 9!" type of person. I have had much fancier washing machines in the past especially during my early to mid -twenties 'yuppy period'. I had machines with all sorts of electronic wizardry- electronic displays, ... ...What I like about my Hoover HNF7127, is its outward simplicity - the lack of electronic display, fiddly buttons and flashing lights. The robust and simple layout of the controls - relatively robust big buttons and dials that do not feel as if they are about to fall off or snap should you twist them just that little bit too quickly.
