...after buying I found that Hotpoint are now part of Indesit. Our previous machine was Indesit and it lasted less than 3 years. The Hotpoint is the same size but seems to wash a whole lot better. The controls are are easy to master and operation is simple. This machine is my saviour. I live in a shared flat on the first floor. Our old machine sounded like a tractor when it was spinning. This machine has an almost silent spin on it. When I first saw the 'Hotpoint Aqualtis' washing machine I just new I had to have it. I looked on 'ciao' and found it for under £400.00. (you can get them cheaper now). I am over the moon with it, it's super silent,has a great capacity load(7.5kg) which means I get my quilt in-Yippee!.You can put your bedding and towels in together,there is just soo much room.
