Indesit Moon - Brilliant washing Machine A1 performance

Advantages: easy to use and clean! and no faults!
Disadvantages: i dont have any!

Cheap and cheerful

Advantages: ummm.... Its cheap!
Disadvantages: Slow speed ... its energy ratings!

Tbis base model washing machine is whats known as cheap and cheerful! It has a 5.5kg drum which is average and will surfice for a family of 4 or 5 but I know if my mum had a drum this size that she would wash 2 or even 3 times a day! So the bills go up :( But for me thats the most disappointing thing- its the 1100rpm drum speed, this is simply not very good! Indesit W103 - A good little workhorse

Advantages: Value for money, simple, reliable
Disadvantages: Can be difficult to judge wash times

...I'd heard good things about indesit reliability, particularly with washing machines, so I thought I could do no harm in sticking with this model. It has pretty basic features - 11 wash programs including a 30 minute daily wash - and temperatures from cool-90 degreesC depending. Great washer for the price!

Advantages: Memory if machine switched off, quiet operation, easy to use
Disadvantages: None!

We bought this washer about 2 years ago after our last one packed up and would cost so much to repair we thought it best to replace. We bought the machine from Curries and it cost about £250. The pits

Advantages: NONE
Disadvantages: Length of time for wash, Poor wash, Leaking, over-sensitive balance

I bought this machine about 6 months ago as a fairly basic work horse machine. It is cold fill and supposed to be green & economical to run - huh! Firstly it takes 2.5 hours for a full cotton wash and I would question how 2.5 hours electricity saves much over heating the water a bit more. I don't have that time to wait for a wash to finish - so what economy? Quickwash is just a swill round - nothing more. The balance mechanism is so delicate that ...
