The indesit Moon Collection of washing machines are great.
I purchased my machine nearly a year ago after my previous two machines had problems. I was very nervous in purchasing another machine as I had so many faults with my last two machines resulting in my kitchen being flooded twice!
When the Moon arrived it was like a spaceship from heaven! They are a great design and very modern and come in lots of different colours. I think they are easy ... ...is great to keep and refer to as it covers all types of washes delicates, whites, colour and wool cycles and confirms the quick buttons on the machine to be able to wash on these cycles.
They also have easy to remove compartments on the door which you put your powder and fabric conditioner in, this allows you to clean the machine compartments when needed.
Since owning my Moon i am very pleased to say i have had no problems with it at all! ...
Advantages: ummm.... Its cheap! Disadvantages: Slow speed ... its energy ratings!
Tbis base model washing machine is whats known as cheap and cheerful!
It has a 5.5kg drum which is average and will surfice for a family of 4 or 5 but I know if my mum had a drum this size that she would wash 2 or even 3 times a day! So the bills go up :( But for me thats the most disappointing thing- its the 1100rpm drum speed, this is simply not very good! I would not recommend a washer under 1400 (this is infact the perfect amount as more has ... ...drum isnt going to wash your clothes to a very high standard but I suppose if your paying £165 for it you shouldnt expect too much!

This was an alright washing machine that I used when at a friend's house. It was certainly capable of doing light loads and taking out all stains accrued (wine spillages...) however I was fairly stumped by the instruction manual that seemed to have been written more for the engineer than the consumer. The different knobs and dials were fairly awkward and it took a couple of tries to get the washing machine setting that I was after for the first couple ... ...had put on was on the shoe section. Not really what I was after! As long as you possess this insider knowledge, you should be fine. I did enjoy the clean smell that came from the machine as previous washing machines haven't been nearly so efficient. We bought this washing machine four weeks ago so I have had enough dirty washing go through the programmes to give you some realistic feedback. Firstly the machine has good energy ratings which is now a seriously important feature to think about when you buy an electric appliance. We discovered that not all machines within this price rance give such high energy efficiency so this is definately a plus point.
The machine has a simple, easy to read ... ...and push button extra feature mechanism means that it is quick and easy to come to grips with initially and then to tailor the wash features to your specific needs. If you have arthritic hands or difficulty manipulating heavy or intricate knobs and buttons this machine is worth a look at because the dials turn easily and the you do not have to exert too much pressure to close the drum door.

I own this washing machine and i have had it for quite a while,in my opinion i think its a bargain and we have only had a few problems with it, as it has gotten older it's deciding not to drain at the end of a wash so we have to now do it manually. Another problem which is completely my fault is the handle to open it, it has a safety feature which i didnt know about, the washing machine door won't open for about a minite after the wash cycle has ... ...this as a warning as it cost us £40 for a new handle. Also it takes quite a long time but if you want sparkling clothes it shouldnt matter but if your in a hurry theres a quick wash option. It it very easy to use and there are different wash cycles to select and different temperstures, i would definately reccomend this products - hope this helps your decision. ...
