Disadvantages: The load capacity is somewhat pathetic and after sales service is questionable

...but my opinion is that Samsung should stick to Mobile phones as they are clearly not in the same league as Candy, Ariston, Dyson or any of the other washing machine specialists. I had the machine for just over a year when it first packed in. The service centre were easy to deal with at first until it came to sending someone out to fix it. In total it took 5 calls (over 2 weeks) to resolve the issue and it turned out that the pump needed to be replaced ...
...is still temperamental and wont take loads anywhere near the size of my old machine which was a hotpoint. It also has days where it doesnt much feel like spinning the load properly. This is the Samsung P1253 washing machine which is a stylish modern looking washing machine suitable for any modern kitchen, not sure why it's in mine then but that's a different matter... pearly white front with controls at the top and then the door underneath. The physical size of it is pretty average, stick out from the wall just about 60cm and is about 60cm wide. It stands about 80cm tall I think. Need to take that into account if you're looking ...
