Servis Customer Service is APPALLING! Advantages: looks nice on the outside Disadvantages: Didn't last more than 1 year - WASTE OF MONEY!!!! I bought a Servis black washing machine M6702B just over a year ago for £360 - I thought I was paying more for the design and quality. Just after the 12 month warranty expired (literally 2 weeks) the machine went completely dead. Customer service for Servis was appalling - after about 30mins of being on hold on an 0870 number I finally got through to a complete t**t, who gave me wrong information and was told as a good will gesture Servis would not ... ...part. I have rang Servis a number of times - one time I was cut off - my call couldn't even reach an operator to help me. DO NOT BUY SERVIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Advantages: none Disadvantages: It doesn't work ...we realised our brand new Servis M6006 washing machine didn't work - the day it was plumbed in - four weeks after purchase as we'd been in the middle of moving - we contacted Servis. After filling with water the machine did absolutely nothing. They took four days to arrange an engineer to come and look at it who then told us the motor and motherboard were completely 'knackered' and Servis should replace the machine as it would be very difficult to ... ...daily phone calls to Servis for them to obtain the engineer's report. They then refused to disclose what the engineer had written. They also refused point blank to replace it as we'd contacted them two days after the 28 day replacement period and said they couldn't get it fixed as they didn't have the parts and they would take approximately 10 days to obtain and then approximately another 4 days for the engineer to come out and fix it. Shame it only lasted 22 months Advantages: Reasonably Cheap Disadvantages: Short lifespan, Noisy ...a glowing review of the Servis M6135 washing machine, until this morning that is. 22 months of largely uneventful performance knocked out in one hit as the machine died totally - not a single LED on the front. Thinking the obvious I changed the fuse but still the same. As I had recently taken out a breakdown cover on the machine I phoned to get it fixed. Eventually I was given the contact details of Servis to arrange repair. After numerous phonecalls ... ...I finally managed to get Servis to come out and 10 minutes later the engineer had it running smoother than it ever has. The controller module had blown quite nicely (big black burnt hole in it) One tip he did give was to make sure it is powered off between washes and switched back on when the programme selector was in the reset position. Servis Washing Machine M3011A Advantages: washes brillaintly easy to use Disadvantages: make it more environmently friendly but it was bought 6 years ago! i bought my servis washing machine back in august 2001 for just under £200. I have had it in three of my homes and is very easy to transport.
