The machine worked well, if noisely since Jan 2008. However recently it started running noiseily. We don't use the machine an awful lot, and paid quite a bit of money for it. Now it stopped working altogether. I had an engineer out and its a complete right -off. I'm going to have to buy another machine. we've only done normal loads in the machine, and its completely broken after only 18 months. I've had loads of washing machines and I've never had ...

Advantages: Really quiet and not bulky or bouncy when the spin is on Disadvantages: Not the best looking
Disaster was looming the other week when our washer broke down. We did not know what we was going to do. We had know money to just go out and buy another washer so we decided to get the new washing machine from the catalogue. And this was the one we got.
The first look at the washer when it arrived was a little dissapointing because we had gone from a lovely grey and stainless steel washing machine to this WHITE one which we didnt exactly like but ... ...plugging it in and putting our first load of washing in we was pleasently supprised. Ths machine is really quiet. It comes with all the usual features like quick wash and cottons and you know all the usual stuff thats so exciting to have in a washer. Advantages: Decent wash and spin, easy to use Disadvantages: Broke down after 5 weeks
Bought a Zanussi ZWF16070W1 from M&S. Installation engineer arrived in very bad mood and said "Zanussis are a nightmare to install" and then refused to install it. He said we would get the installation fee refunded from M&S but they later said we wouldn't.
Machine was reasonable for wash and spin but broke down after just 5 weeks. The drum stopped turning and it sounded like the motor was having a problem. M&S say it is outside their 7 day period, ... ...an engineer to visit (for which we have to take a day off work) and either repair it or condemn it for replacement (which will mean another day off work).
I would have expected a straight replacement for a machine that breaks down after just 5 weeks.
Overall very disappointing service and unsatisfactory reliability or durability. ...
