The One Binary Watch
Review of The One Binary Watch by
bestiebabe
Advantages: Lightweight. Different colours
Disadvantages: Bulky. Hard to see the correct time
My husband had the One Binary Watch bought for his birthday. It looks very impressive and people were very interested in it. The plus points are that it is lightweight, although bulky and comes in colours that are easy to coordinate.
The minus side is that it is very difficult to tell the time. With an ordinary digital watch you can glance at your wrist and see the time immediately. With a binary watch you have to calculate the time by counting ...

Review of Casio G Shock by
danniell
Advantages: great watch
Disadvantages: none
i have the puppy version of this watch in pink, this is a great watch for anyone who loves dogs, this watch is very tough and will take quite a battering, i know mine has been through more than any other watch has ever managed to sustain and is still going strong.
This is a great watch for telling the time with, you have the option of 12 or 24 hour format, the display has the time displayed in hours, minutes, seconds aswell as the date displayed ... ...of a puppy in the backlight of the watch and there are puppy paw prints on the strap, this along with the pink colour makes this a very tough and elegant looking watch for women.
It has a battery life of 3 years, the calender on the watch goes up to the year 2099 which is way further than i expect the watch to last no matter how shock proof it is, there are 5 indipendent alarm settings, it beeps once every hour but you do have the option of turning ...

A Pretty 'Diesent' Watch
Review of Diesel DZ-1091 by
lustba
Advantages: Style and Comfort.
Disadvantages: Did the time change by itself?
...and precise engraving of the Diesel logo. This logo can also be found on the small dial on the right hand side of the watchface, that is used to change the time. (A feature i used last night to put the time forward an hour). This dial has small ridges spaced evenly around the circumference of it. When i was trying to pull it out to change the time, i found it to be very hard and couldn't do it. In the end i had to use my teeth to pull it ever so ... ...luck, however similar watches by Diesel were going for between £60.00-£75.00 on buy it now.
*****Conclusion*****
Overall i think that this watch is suitable for the younger man like myself, however, i would also say that it is suitable for the older man aswell, as it looks stylish, is easy to view and it is likely to be comforable for everyone. It is a good timepiece and i am very pleased with it. If you want something stylish but still practical, ...

Prepare to be G-Shocked!
Review of Casio G-Shock DW9300 by
hackersupr
Advantages: Looks great, tons of features, wont break!
Disadvantages: Would look silly on a small wrist.
I was looking for a new watch when the G-Shock caught my eye. These watches were previously highly sought after with insane prices of £100+ being acceptable! Look & Feel
The G-Shock watch is pretty stylish. The case is made from a tough plastic, finished in a dark blue colour. The G-Shock logo is displayed on the top of the watch in yellow lettering. The LCD display is quite large and is very clear and easy to read, it is encircled by a silver ring ... ...shock resist on the bottom. There are four other buttons on the sides of the watch to adjust the settings, these are grey, are easy to press and responsive (unlike my old watch on which the buttons were so tiny they were almost impossible to press!). Below the display is the final button, this is black and has the G-Shock logo on it, when pressed it activates the backlight which is a cool blue. The strap on the watch is also plastic, but it feels ...

Citizen Skyhawk A-T Eco-drive watch
Review of Citizen Eco-Drive Watch by
SvenP
Advantages: Atomic time-keeping, solar powered, 200m WR
Disadvantages: Not the lightest of watches
Citizen Skyhawk A-T Eco-drive watch, model no JY0000-53E.
At the time of writing, this watch is the top of the Skyhawk model range, Citizen's take on aviation themed watches. In addition to the usual Skyhawk features, the A-T model synchronises with the atomic clock signal. As well as being able to receive the European signal, it can also be trained to the USA and Japan time signals by setting the relevant time zone - an advantage over some of the ... ...is a chunky design with a stainless steel bracelet and base contrasting the black face and rotating slide rule bezel. The hands are metallic with luminous inserts, and all the hour markers also contain the luminous inserts. The watch weighs in at 178g (on our digital kitchen scales) and the glass is 34mm diameter, with the watch 47mm wide and 14mm deep (note: all measurements taken with a shatter resistant ruler and Mk 1 eyeball). Overall, for such ...
