Batteries not included? No problem.

Advantages: Requires no battery, titanium versions available, glowing points and hands
Disadvantages: Losing the pins can be an issue

I have wanted a Seiko watch for a long time. The brand and designs just ooze quality and stature. It's no wonder I won't wear anything else these days. It's important for my job that every second is accounted for, and with the Seiko kinetic titanium watch I have is perfect, drifting only a second over a period of months. Fantastic, from a watch with no battery! The 'kinetic' mechanism I thought would be a gimmick, a back-up with no actual use. ...
...with proper adjustment by the jewellers. I recommend Seiko for their designs and their prices, as well as their features. if you see a style that you like and you can afford it, go for it. Get the kinetic auto-relay ones if you can, they are worth every penny. ...

Review of Seiko Gents Kinetic Watch

Watch it

Advantages: Calendar and appearance, do you need any more ??
Disadvantages: Definitely the bracelet !!

...I had had my previous Seiko watch for about 10 years with absolutely no problems, but it came to the day last week when it was just too scruffy to consider buying a new strap for as the face had a accumulation of scratches and the plating had worn, so I decided naturally on another Seiko. After looking around I decided on the Perpetual Calendar Serial Nos. 4F32, 8F32 and 8F33. This may have cost £175 from Great Universal Catalogues, but at least ...
...of 20 seconds. I believe Seiko have scored a first with their perpetual calendar. To check the calendar you pull the crown out to it's first click, and push back to it's normal position and within a second it will display the leap year (second hand) and the month and date within the calendar frame. The leap year indication is that the second hand moves quickly at five-second intervals and stops to indicate the number of years that have passed since ...

Review of Seiko Perpetual Calendar Watch

Seiko Titanium Chronograph.

Advantages: Long lasting, light, goot features, looks very nice.
Disadvantages: The glass gets scratched eventually.

I have owned a Seiko Titanium Chronograph for around 8 years now. I bought it when I was about 13, and it's been on my wrist practically every day ever since. I have finally got a new watch now, which is by no means replacing the Seiko, I just wanted another one... First off it is still going after 8 years hard use, so the build quality must be there really. I have never had any problems with it whatsoever and it has had one new battery since I got ...
...had sent it back to Seiko you'd be looking at close to 100, and as I'd paid £130 for the watch 7 years previously it did not seem like a good idea! Anyway Jarrolds did a good job and I've had no waterproofing issues since. The major annoyance with this watch (what lead me to wanting another one) is that it only has mineral glass and not sapphire glass. This means that by the time 8 years comes around there are a lot of scratches all over the glass ...

...that happening though. Seiko made a good watch here. The face glows in the dark, just the right amount to tell the time and it keeps the date and time perfectly, what more could you want? I’d recommend it to anyone. No batteries. No hassle. Brilliant watch. ...

Review of Seiko Gents Diver Watch

Understated watch with significant abilities

Advantages: needs no batteries, automatically updates the time, good looking
Disadvantages: doesnt adjust for BST

...watch, an old but comfortable Seiko kinetic and this one. This Seiko was the most recent addition and is now my everyday watch. The old Seiko has turned into my ‘dirty work’ watch, the kind of jobs that could end up causing damage, DIY including painting and gardening º The idea of a solar powered watch initially isn’t very appealing if you live in the UK as we don’t see a great deal of sunlight for long stretches and a watch that needs to hibernate ...
...water but that isn’t all. Seiko are a very well established company who make durable well built watches. They have been described as being a poor mans Rolex! The Seiko’s I have had in the past have always lasted well. º This watch is very well made and attractive as well. It is from the Brightz range and is atomic. This obviously doesn’t mean you have a miniature thermonuclear reactor on your wrist. It actually refers to taking its time from atomic ...
