San Pellegrino in plastic bottles Advantages: none Disadvantages: not a good move to change from glass to plastic I love San Pellegrino mineral water, I agree with the previous reviewer. It is light and refreshing and not at all gassy. My only gripe is that I used to be able to buy it in large, glass bottles but for some ridiculous reason (certainly not a green one) I can only find the larger sizes in nasty plastic bottles. Were I to buy teeny bottles of San Pellegrino, I would have the pleasure of glass but I don't want a teeny bottle, I want a great big bottle ... ...they changed to plastic? I didn't buy the water for a long time after the change, but now I have sneaked it back onto my shopping list. I am concerned, though, as, apart from the recycling point-of-view, I am sure it is less healthy to buy water in plastic bottles as the chemicals can leach into the water. 5 stars for the water but 0 stars for the plastic bottles! Water is as Water Does Advantages: refreshing Disadvantages: expensive for water Buxton Mineral Water..... I try to drink a few glassess of water each day and if I am out and about I would rather buy a cheap bottle of water rather than a pricey bottle of fizzy pop. This Buxton Mineral Water was around the same price as all the other bottles of water and cost 55 pence. This is a fair price for a bottle of water and cheaper than most fizzy pop bottles. The water itself is clear and fresh. It is of course best drank when very ... ...Yuck! The bottle has changed shap recently making it easier to hold and even better for re-use of the bottle itself. As water goes this tastes just like it should pure and refreshing. i would not say I prefer this one to others but then again I would not say I prefer others to this. Designer Water Advantages: Crisp looking alternative to plain water Disadvantages: No good for the over-thirsty! ...nodded without thinking to the Perrier bottle as it being quite acceptable, I was horrified when it arrived in my hand with hideous bubbles announcing its sparkling nature. Unable to make a fuss I gritted my teeth and took a sip. I was shocked. Instead of a vile carbon over-taste I was greeted with a refreshing liquid which made a discreet alternative to mineral water. It had a subtle "hardened" taste to it, but the bubbles were not harsh, and the ... ...down half a glass of Perrier when I'm gagging for a drink! Since I can only imagine it would result in hiccups and gasping for air afterwards, not to mention a gassy feeling in the stomach! The glass bottle itself is, of course, a rich bottle green colour, with a gold screw cap and the smallish green Perrier label on the front. TESCO SPARKIING WATER, CHEAP BUT LOVELY! Advantages: VERY CHEAP AND LONGLASTING Disadvantages: sometimes goes a little flat ...i can go in to tesco and buy one for 40p! or 3 for £1! AMAZING PRICE they are big bottles that last uswel. And they have 3 nice flavours to choose from lemon and lime which just tastes like lemonade but is still very nice, peach which is very nice and apple and rasberry which is my favourite, i think there could be more flavours but these are the only flavours they have in my local tesco express.
