Think before you drink! Advantages: see review Disadvantages: see review I first tasted Evian spring water when I was on holiday in France. I bought the water because we were traveling through France and needed some bottled water. I choose Evian over the wide range of other brands on offer because I believed at the time that this was the best brand on the market! Evian is a French brand and is made by the giant Danone group. It is considered a high end product and as such has a lot of snob value! The water used comes ... ...Evian tell you on their web site that the water used starts its journey high up in the Alps when it falls as rain and snow. Over many years the water runs down the mountain traveling through vast mineral fields, until it arrives in the spring. Evian bottled water comes in a clear plastic bottle with a simple mountain picture on the front. The packaging does look quite up market in my opinion which is exactly what Danone intend it to do! What a rip-off Advantages: Convience Disadvantages: to many to list Volvic and many other companies are charging outrageous prices for a bottle of water. each company charges a different amount some say they are premium water but it reality the water is the same as any other. review of volvic touch of fruit water! Advantages: nice taste, nice smell, sugar free! Disadvantages: lid hard for children to drink from without spilling! I have recently tried the (volvic touch of )range and have found them quite nice, i have been a non water drinker for some time and usuallt drink the more sugary fruit drink. Recently it was pointed out to me how much sugar i was intaking on a daily basis and i felt the need to try something different. i tried a few other brands of fizzy water and found that the fizz seemed to go out of them more quickly than other drinks and didnt enjoy half flat ... ...they smell great and as alot of our tase is helped by smell im sure this helps to not need to over flavour them. as with most water drinks i found that my thirst was quenched much quicker and also did not get the horrid tase that you sometimes get after too much sugar has been washed around your mouth. really enjoyed this product and my son also was happy to drink this even though he doesnt usually like water so a big thumbs up! ... marieperring 18.05.2009 · Read full review Review of Volvic - Touch of Fruit
Water, water everywhere Advantages: Very low cost Disadvantages: May be a tad bland ...to strengthen their bones. Tap water is my preferred method on drinking water. When I am abroad, in particular in Europe, I get quite confused with why we shouldn't drink the water. I usually spend the first day avoiding it like it would be sudden death to swallow any when I clean my teeth. I avoid the ice cubes and washed salad, also. By day two, I am boiling my water for cups of tea, or using cooled, boiled water for pouring into empty bottles ... ...and start to filter my tap water. On average this lasts a week, and then I get back to fresh tap water. The point I am making is, that we pay a small fortune in this country to have water provided to us through our taps that is healthy for us to drink. There are guidelines for this, and it is regularly checked and sampled to ensure that it meets the standard required. It is 'Perfectly Clear' which is the best Spring Water Drink Advantages: Feels refreshing. Disadvantages: None Perfectly Clear is a Spring Water Drink with a subtle taste of a particular fruit. The one I am actually drinking at the moment is Red Apple. This is quite a new one to me. I usually but mine at my local Iceland which have 2 litre bottles of Perfectly Clear water on BOGOF for £1. This isn't actually new. They have had them at this price for at least 12 months to my knowledge. Other flavours are Summer Fruits, Peach & Mandarin, Lime & Lemon. The ... ...so I keep it in the cupboard but others may prefer to keep theirs in the fridge. I've no doubt it isn't as healthy as just ordinary water however it is a great alternative to fizzy drinks or other squash drinks, and the kids love it. In the apple drink I am drinking at the moment each 250ml contains 2.2 calories, 0% sugar, 0 Fat, 0 Saturates and a trace of salt.
