Brita Marella Water Filter: Filter-Fantastic

Advantages: Clean fresh tasting water at minimum cost
Disadvantages: Having to run water through twice with each new cartridge

Review of Brita Marella Cool Water Filter

There's nothing better than ice cold water

Advantages: Long term money saving, looks cool, tastes good.
Disadvantages: Humming noise

We were bought the Brita Aqua Fountain for a Christmas present and at the time I had to admit I thought it a little naff. Now that I've been using it for 4 months I can safely say that it's my favourite gift. No longer having to buy and lug litres of bottled water home from the supermarket each week is a godsend. I'm sure that I was on my way to a hernia! I also don't need to worry about storage as the fountain sits comfortably on my kitchen table ...

Disadvantages: it dont come from a volcano?

Drink 8 pints of water they tell you. I didn't want to drink 8 teaspoons of my tap water! Our water contains so much chlorine that it turns our shower cubicle pink.
