After searching many high street retailers and department stores we were struggling to find a blind for our bedroom. We could not find any ready made, as the window is the complete width of our bedroom, just over nine feet. We looked at made to measure from the John Lewis, but this worked out too expensive.

We decided to check out the web for any made to measure sites. We came across Web-blinds.com and they were just what we were looking for.

They do a great range for vertical, venison, roman, and normal roller blinds. All came is a large select of fabrics, designs and colours.

There is a great page where you can enter the measurements of your window and it will calculate the cost of the blind, by style and fabric.

Another page allows you to recreate your room, in our case the bedroom, then experiment with different blinds and fabrics while on line.

There are very simple online instructions on how to measure your window, then how to place your order.

They allow you to order swatches of material, we ordered five in all. This allowed us to compare them with our current décor before making the final decision.

Ordering was simple, you could even select what day you wanted delivery, also AM or PM. For a small charge there is a Saturday delivery option.

Delivery was prompt via a courier, our order could have been ready earlier, but we delayed it and opted for a Saturday delivery.

The blind came well packaged; the instructions were easy to follow. In all, it took two of us 20 minutes to unpack and put up the blind.

The company even sent a one foot by two foot of material free of charge, so that we could make a black out for an small window at the end of the main bedroom.

The quality of the blind is great, it came full lined and the material is of a high standard.

We opted for a roman blind, which cost in total a little over £200. Great value as we were quote nearer £300 by John Lewis.
