Well, there is a microphone built. the picture quality is decent, you may have to fiddle with the focus a bit and mess around with the settings but after that it is a very good camera for the price. In all honesty I did not expect it to be that great in quality considering the price and how much you can pay for other web cams. So I took the small box home and opened it up.
