The Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000: Handy and great quality!

Advantages: Great design, ease of use and microphone/video quality, Ideal for Skype or Internet Calling
Disadvantages: The software bundle took a while to get running

From the very start, I had always been looking for a webcam for purchase but I was always worried that I would end up with an unsatisfactory purchase. After a few days of research, this webcam seemed to be the most reasonable choice and had very positive reviews - and they did serve right. Not what I expected from microsoft

Advantages: Great camera
Disadvantages: Dodgy microphone

Review of Microsoft LifeCam VX-6000

Good product, Better customer service

Advantages: High quality; better than normal ADSL can handle, seamless Skype integration, Logitech are great.
Disadvantages: Maybe a little pricey?

...give both the webcam and Logitech generally a review here. Firstly the webcam. I have no complaints, and only positive things to say about it, good value for money, inegrates seamlessly with skype, and takes but a minute to install (just remember to install the software before plugging the webcam in); if I remember correctly, it didn't even require a reboot.
