Review of Logitech Quickcam E 3500 by senaiboy

Advantages: Clear image even in low light, vivid colours, wide viewing angle, great webcam software
Disadvantages: Spherical shape (cumbersome for laptop users), backlighting compensation can be improved

...to the product at hand, Logitech Quickcam E 3500. Honestly, when it comes to webcams, it's either Logitech or Microsoft that are the popular ones. Unfortunately I don't have a Microsoft webcam to compare it to, so this will be based on my experience with this Logitech webcam alone. 1. Picture Quality and Capture Rate I guess most of all one would like to know how good the quality of the picture seen on the webcam is. Glad to say that with the E3500, ...
...is just like any other Logitech webcams I suspect. Setting up requires a brief installation of the webcam software provided, and after that it'll be just plug-and-play. 7. Value for money I bought this at a promotional price of £14.99 from PCWorld, so for me I think it's worth every penny spent. Conclusion: Frankly, I bought this webcam with very high expectations (no less from Logitech!), and I am glad to say that I am now a very happy customer. ... Read review

Genius Look1320
Review of Genius Look 1320 by SoulLine

Advantages: Works with windows XP
Disadvantages: Not compatible with Vista

Having bought the Look1320 for my new computer, Operating System is Windows Vista Premium. The web camera worked at first, due to a problem with my PC after changing the computer back to the factory settings, the web camera no longer works. After checking a few online forums I found out that Genius, will not be producing drivers for the web cameras to work with Vista. This is a contradiction to what the product description stated, as the camera ...
...The Look1320 is a good web camera, that works well on Windows XP. For the price it is worth buying if you have Windows XP, though would not buy it if you have a Windows Vista operating system. It is worth paying for a more expensive web camera, as you should find that they will work well with all computer operating system, I would say that this web camera is worth it if you can not afford more expensive models on the market. ... Good Value
Review of Creative Live! Cam Vista IM by kwani-kwani

Advantages: Nice price tag, reasonable picture, very easy installation, mic
Disadvantages: fuzziness, limited options, colour can be distorted

I would mainly recommend this to either someone who would like a good-value-for-money webcam for either a holiday or just talking to friends on IM. If you're not either of these then it's also good for people who don't have a very technical grasp of their computer. It's very, very simple to set up. It attaches easily by USB and then just takes a CD to install. It's quick, simple and does what it says on the tin. For it's price, the picture is good ...
...colour is decent, (though it can sometimes be too bright). A nice little addition is the microphone, which I never had any problems with, and the function of taking videos and pictures. However, if your intention is to make videos to put online, or you really want an excellent quality picture, then this product isn't for you. It's cheap, but won't satisfy you if that's what your looking for due to varying levels of fuzziness. And the limited options ... Read review
